Autor: Kuhn, Roselaine
mecânicas do movimento humano.
condicionado a tempos e espaços residuais e exíguos.
The investigation is based on an analogy between the free play and move self of the child and
the chrysalis as metaphor of the childhood that selfgerminate children butterflies, in
development and in constant transformation by autopoiesis, in a process similar to
metamorphoses. The play and move self promotes the necessary conditions for them to
establish a productive dialogue with the body-world, in order to perform significant experience,
only requiring the aid of adults to proceed in the fight of survival. The theoretical assumptions
revolve around the studies of the theory of the human movement with the contribution of the
phenomenology, in a way of emblazon the dialogic relation perspective and the conception of
the phenomenon as metamorphic language. The aim was unveil and understand the
representations of the children and the adults about the play and move self in freedom on the
kindergarten. The methodology is the qualitative approach with ethnographic intention. The
subjects are 22 children between the age of 5 and 6 years old, of a kindergarten in the city of
Braga (Portugal). The data were collected through the free observation with registration in field
journals and semi structured interviews. We privileged the children protagonism through the
interpretative listening and used the content analysis to understand the messages given through
words and gestures, from where we extracted the categories and subcategories of de analysis.
We confirmed the hypothesis that predicts the substantial differences between the
representations of the children and the adults. The representations of the children are located
on the phenomenology field and they manifest themselves, predominantly, in the world lived
as ontological and existential. Adults’, are forged eminently, in the thought world, configured
by the modern scientific rationality, assigning great importance to the functional and mechanic
analysis of the human movement. The hiatus between the representations, results in the
overpowering of school work at the expense of the freedom to play, due to the concentration
of the process of decision-making in the adults’ figure, that predetermine the activities and
routines, making children unable to demarcate their choices. The play and move self is
conditioned by time and spaces residual and exiguous. The lack of freedom is followed by a
set of rules that govern the children’s bodies, with the objective of disciplining them. As a
counterpoint, we proceed to complement the world of the child’s life. Children are their own
feelings and they live intensively with total focus on the present, dialoguing with the
counterfactuals, recursively. Children give meaning to what they do in their own way, and that
is the sustenance of the autopoiesis. The child’s life is playing, which means dialoguing and
interacting naturally with herself, with the others and with the world. They are spontaneously
curious and, like butterflies, love to explore, because the human’s life is an unfinished project
and does not spare dialogue body-world to become. The playful and sensitive dimension of the
corporeity is primordial and humanizing to the human being. We conclude that the kindergarten
is an ideal place to sprout the small pupas in colorful butterflies, as long as they allow children
to discover the world for themselves, released of the coercion of adults. We aspire children to
breathe by their own, freely, to dwell legitime kindergartens as fertile places that cultivate
children butterflies, fluttering and curious, nurturing countless flowers all over the world. The
joy of the children is the pollen that will go with the wind and by the butterflies’ legs, sow and
sprout a better world.

O resultado central dessa tese adveio do embate programado e
convencional.
Dessa forma, as informações e conhecimentos aqui apresentados
mulheres e numa educação não-sexista, não-discriminatória, inclusiva.; The main goal of the thesis Feminine/ feminism poetic in the
contemporary art: wrongdoing to the visual art teaching in schools is to
investigate the absence of women artistic production in the art teaching in
schools and propose its inclusion as resistance strategy in a field commonly
appointed by conventionalism and andocentric insole.
The investigation started from the confirmation of the masculine
approach used in a naturalized and constant way into the art history discursive
constructions, which is constant in cultural industry products, so it is present in
the formal education art teaching, as well.
In the order to get the proposed objective – which is to evidence the
feminine invisibility as a theme in classes and, in the same time, to encourage
its adoption – the theoretical reference was based on Foucault and in thinkers
as Luciana Loponte, Ana Mae Barbosa, Marián Cao, Guacira Louro, António
Nóvoa, Whitney Chadwick and Patrícia Mayayo. The approach was a simple
case study throughout continuous formation course to art teachers in a Brazilian
city called Juiz de Fora in Minas Gerais.
The central result of this thesis came from a programmed and organized
encounter on the empiric field between the studied group and the three
contemporary artists’ anti-patriarchal artistic maneuvers, who are Paula Rego,
Rosana Paulino and Beth Moysés. From this process dawned viabilities and
lack of accessibilities about forbidden and silenced subjects present in the
works and wrongdoing to conventional art teaching.
Then, the information and knowledge presented in this thesis intend to
contribute to academic investigation as well as to teaching practice, which are
worried about the art significant teaching to children and others, with visibility of
women artist and a non-sexist, non-discrimination and includent education.

afectivos, processo metacognitivo e criativo.
resultados observados no pré-teste e no pós-teste.
recolhidos permitem neste contexto reformular o modelo inicialmente traçado,
assimilando conhecimentos em rede, ou seja construindo aprendizagens significativas.; This project was born of a wish, a wish of reaching a greater capacity of
intervention in education and students’ learning. It was presented and developed in the
Child’s Study Institute of Minho University (in the city of Braga, Portugal).
In this implementation, participated the Ribeira do Neiva Preparatory School and
the Cerebral Paralysis Association of Braga (CPAB).
The general goal of this project was to generate the discussion of an experimental
teaching program used in the Art subject, in Preparatory School, having as theoretical
basis the three levels of self learning method, mainly the affective aspect, metacognitive
and creative processes.
Therefore, another purpose of this work is to give an answer to the question: How
the curricular competences of students in regular teaching, where can also be included
children carrying a lightness mental deficiency, is directly related to the metacognitive,
creative and affective process in the classroom? On the other hand, it was imperative to
understand what is the importance of these processes in educative success and in the
transference of competences of self learning method in new situations?
This study shows the implemented program in the experimental groups (regular
teaching and children with cerebral paralyses and lightness mental deficiency of
CPAB), as far as creativity is concerned, surveyed by the Torrance Test of Creative
Thinking did not allow to their performance improvement, if we compare the pre and
post-test results.
Considering an interpretative assumption, it was realised that in the Art Subject it
has been created atmospheres which probably should estimulate creativity, the methods
followed by all the teachers in the curriculum articulation, might not be enough to
spawn efficiency, reason why there should be dedicated more attention to this
procedure.
However, opposing this initial scenery, the program also reveals, not only by
quantitative, but also by qualitative analysis, in both creative process and affective
aspects there has been a development of some os its dimentions.
As far as the first one is concerned, by the use of new methods, it was notorious
the improvement of students to remember more ancient contents, have more courage to
take risks, more tolerance and fluency (flux of ideas). Considering the second one, that increment became obvious, mainly in primary
and secondary emotions. This aspect is simultaneously enphasized, not only by
students’ point of view, but also through teachers’ opinion.
As far as metacognitive process is concerned, the quantitative analysis shows that
there has been also an improvement in students’ perspective, fact that lead them to a
highest level of autoconsequence (internal attribution which defines the successful tasks
done, and its consequent reward or punishment), in the investment of their individual
effort (energy used to accomplish tasks), as well as in the movement inside the
classroom, as if this one has been adopted the role of catalyser of significant learnings.
The triangulation of qualitative analysis results became evident that the
metacognitive process was the most explored dimension in both experimental groups, in
which students autoregulated their own creative process and affective aspects. The
obtained results allow us to reformulate the initial model, fact that opened the
possibility to the arisement of a new interpretative structure which may originate a new
cicle of studies.
Taking into account this new conception, the solving problem method is
dinamized by the three dimentions of this study (affectivity, metacognition and
creativity), giving the opportunity of aquiring the self learning competence, but also the
enrichment of students’ cognitive curriculum.
This organization shows new possibilities of exploiting didactics to be used in the
Art subject, since students became aware, most efficiently, the general competences of
elementary teaching, aquiring knowledge and establishing the relationship among them,
in a most clear way, building more significant learnings.

século XIX e meados do século XX.
identidades curriculares específicas, reunidas sob o signo escolar de educação artística.; This thesis looks, from a historical perspective, the disciplines of design, choral singing, crafts
and drama in the Portuguese primary school.
Emphasis given on understanding the historical construction of school knowledge which set
the curriculum area of artistic education is the core of the dissertation.By placing the study in
its historical and social reality, it was intended to help disassemble the given, natural, timeless
and apolitical character, which seems to ravage the artistic education. With it, we try to show
the process of curriculum alchemy of the disciplines that shaped it, revealing the ways in
which its construction was inseparable from the more general process of disciplining of
knowledge and dissemination of the school model.
In theory, the research articulated contributions from the history of the curriculum and school
subjects as well as authors of related issues of globalization of schooling education.
On the empirical base, the study is confined to a temporal arc between the beginning of the
nineteenth century and the mid-twentieth century. Having as main sources the legislation,
school books and media for education and training, the study adopted two guidelines,
although distinct ones, which are interrelated and mutually complementary. The first focused
on the very process of social construction of artistic materials, questioned the founding
discourses that legitimized the passage of knowledge of the social traditions of origin to the
school culture. It also asked about the ways in which the subjects are articulated and
incorporated with the discourses that went through the school culture and how they changed
when those changed.
The second line addressed the role of disciplines, in a perspective of the relationship of
knowledge, and the effects of power on school actors. We sought to understand through the
ways of achieving pedagogical production, how the disciplines disciplined and how that
production, which was part and parcel of the very process of curriculum alchemy, has resulted
in specific curricular identities, gathered under the sign of artistic schooling education.; Cette thèse analyse à partir d’une perspective historique, les disciplines du Dessin, du Chant

No ensino fundamental de nove anos as escolas estudadas adoptam o programa escolar para a educação física em concordância com as suas particularidades e potencialidades pedagógicas, administrativas e estruturas físicas, atendendo com dificuldades as propostas normativas do ministério da educação.; Education has, through time, raised the need for (re)structuring, led both by the initiative of the educational leaders, and by the urge for renewal and transformation felt in the school community. This situation gives rise to the challenge of balancing the needs reported by the school community and the implementations announced by the educational leaders. School thus emerges as a scenario where the disagreements in the implemented proposals are reflected.
In this study we had as main objective to understand the perception of the teachers regarding the organization and systematization of the programme contents in the first grades (1st to 5th grade). We strived for a descriptive - interpretative study anchored in the paradigm of the teacher‟s way of thinking, with a qualitative approach and the purpose to understand the situational meanings and characteristics presented by the subjects who collaborated with the study. The sample consists of 12 physical education teachers from three colleges of application in the South of Brazil, inquired in the school year of 2007 through semi-structured interviews. In the process of analysis and discussion of results, the answers were submitted to content analysis and we adopted an inductive categorization system. We defined the following areas for the interviews‟ content analysis: school, social, scientific-pedagogical and training of teachers. The categories are based on the aspects linked with the curriculum guidelines and articulation; body culture; status of the course; school health; planning, organization and systematization of the contents; pedagogical limitation; the initial and continuous training and the theory-practice relationship.
Looking at the results, we infer the worry of the teachers towards resizing the pedagogical and practical propositions in an interdisciplinary perspective. Regarding the initial training, we perceived a need by the teachers to stress the acquisition of technical knowledge, rather than the development of theoretical- practical skills. We believe there is a precarious transferability of knowledge inherent to the physical education teaching, at this level of education.
Regarding the curriculum programmes and guidelines, the recent entrance of schoolchildren in Basic school at the age of six, has as a consequence that teachers conceive the programmes still in a (re)structuring phase while they seek to answer this new educational reality, despite the limitations they claim in the initial training. In the basic nine years education, the schools in our study adopt the school programme for physical education, according to their peculiarities and capabilities in pedagogical and administrative terms, and also in terms of the physical structures, while they comply, not without difficulties, with the policy proposals of the Ministry of Education.
