Autor: Faria, David Vieira
e composição do agregado familiar.; After these last two years, the changes that the pandemic brought about at work and in labor
relations are undeniable. This dissertation sought to analyze the effects of teleworking and determine the
intensity with which these effects are reproduced on physical and mental health, professional
(dis)satisfaction and the conciliation between work and family life, also seeking to determine and capture
the differences between the different teleworking regimes, that is, between the exclusive teleworking
regime and between the hybrid teleworking regime. In addition, we sought to understand whether
teleworking corresponded to the expectations of teleworkers, as well as to find out what the predominant
values and expectations were regarding (tele)working.
If the performance of a professional activity had, in the past, a manifestly face-to-face character,
this one, as a result of the health impositions resulting from Covid-19, acquires, from then on, a digital
feature. Work undergoes a process of segmentation and reconfiguration, in which telework is assumed
as an alternative model, carrying with it new opportunities and challenges that need to be problematized.
From the effects on physical and mental health, to professional (dis)satisfaction as well as the challenges
faced with reconciling personal/professional life, the theoretical contributions and empirical evidence
available on telework do not meet unanimity. Faced with the uncertainty that this modality raises, as well
as the resulting effects that it carries, this dissertation seeks, among the various existing investigations
on the subject, to contribute to the debate and deepening of teleworking, problematizing its effects.
In methodological terms, this dissertation follows the quantitative research design, supported
by the reformulation of the questionnaire survey used, in 2020, in the project “Return to work after COVID 19: (Re)centering of values?”, coordinated by Ana Paula Marques. As it was possible to replicate that
reformulated questionnaire in 2022, the results indicate that, despite the changes that, from the outset,
the pandemic brought about in the labor market, both in labor relations and also in terms of future
expectations for the future, the results of this dissertation indicate that (tele)workers do not consider that
the pandemic has had effects either on their physical and mental health, or on the conciliation between
professional and family life, and on job (dis)satisfaction, safeguarding, however, some specificities along
with both the dimensions under analysis and also according to gender, age group, marital status as well
as the composition of the household.

No Brasil trouxe
em seguida os resultados alcançados e as contribuições para estudo.; The Covid-19 pandemic was not the same for everyone. In Brazil, it brought much more
painful impacts on certain vulnerable, intersectional bodies, especially those of the female gender,
who suffer double punishment in the current sexist society. Thus, it is necessary to study the origin
of the term Intersectionality, and how the pandemic affects gender, race and social class in the
Brazilian context, who are the vulnerable in the pandemic with a brief analysis of necropolitics in
Brazil.
In the gender cut, structural concepts about its definition will be addressed, how women
are seen in the patriarchy, the double vulnerability of women in the pandemic, the unemployment
of women in relation to men in this period, converging the concepts of race, class and color under
the intersectionality bias.
The study also brings a focus on domestic violence against women and the LGBTQIA+
population, which have become more present than ever, despite underreporting masked by black
numbers, in view of the failures of public policies aimed at this public during the pandemic period.
which lasted until the end of 2022.
The research methodology covers qualitative methods, with semi-structured interviews
applied to citizens in a pandemic context in the city of Belo Horizonte and interior of Minas Gerais
(Nepomuceno), carried out with women of different profiles who lived in the Covid-19 pandemic,
such as mothers, women single, married, teacher, caregiver for the elderly, sex workers, lawyer,
psychologist, about their perceptions in the pandemic and the impacts suffered during and after
Covid, at a psychological, economic and school level, then demonstrating the results achieved and
the contributions to study.

fornecer orientações para o campo da sustentabilidade e responsabilidade social corporativa.; LIPOR's actions have always been based on the principles of sustainability, as reflected in the
development of numerous sustainability, social responsibility and environmental education projects and
initiatives. This has allowed the Organization to get to know its target audience and their needs, interacting
with them and keeping them involved and emotionally attached to it. This strategy promotes the loyalty
of its citizens, through behavior and a sense of belonging.
The aim of this project was to analyze the sustainability and social responsibility practices of an
Association of Municipalities, more specifically to understand whether the LIPOR Halloween initiative
promotes the importance of the environment and the well-being of the community. To this end, a
methodology based on a case study was used, making use of various research techniques, such as
documentary analysis, interviews and questionnaires, as well as data processing.
The results show that LIPOR was perceived as committed to innovation and sustainability, emphasizing
the need to incorporate these values into the organizational culture. Although the Halloween initiative did
not lead to significant changes in participants' recycling practices, it was effective in promoting
environmental awareness and community engagement, highlighting the importance of long-term results.
Social networks played a crucial role in publicizing social responsibility events. Support for continuing the
initiative reflects the success of LIPOR's strategies over time. Future research should include follow-up
studies, comparative analyses, cost-benefit evaluations and expanding the sample, with a view to
providing guidance for the field of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The Covid-19 pandemic affected various aspects of social life, work being no exception. Due to
the progression of the health crisis that affected social life on a global level, the social activity of work
needed to look for new ways to "reinvent" itself. In this sense, several strategies have been adopted in
order to reduce the impact of the pandemic in the workplace, including lay-offs and teleworking strategies.
The results obtained in the study " Regresso ao Trabalho Pós-Covid-19: (Re)Centramento de
Valores", coordinated by Ana Paula Marques (ICS - University of Minho), suggest an increase in the "hybridity" of work, which raise some questions and make it relevant to analyze these hybrid modalities in
the labor context. From this study, it is perceptible that the respondents value the positive aspects of
telecommuting, related to teleworking and hybrid work, which combines home office with face-to-face
work.
In order to contribute to a deeper understanding of hybrid work in Portugal, the main objective of
this study is to answer the following questions: How do hybrid work modes influence workers' family,
professional and personal lives? How do hybrid working arrangements align with the notions of flexicurity and reconciliation? Or, on the contrary, have the advantages perceived by workers in these hybrid
modalities been contributing to a worsening of asymmetries in work relationships and in the management of family/private responsibilities and roles? In view of these questions, we have established an
analysis centered on the workers' perspective of the hybrid way of working. Privileging a mixed methodology, articulating quantitative and qualitative methods, the results of the study mentioned above were
analyzed, as well as the results of ten semi-directive interviews with "hybrid workers". In general, the
results indicated that hybrid modalities are advantageous for workers, giving rise to satisfaction and
flexibility, and allowing a better conciliation between private and professional life.

In the last years, we have witnessed the Covid-19 pandemic with various social, political, economic, psychological
consequences, among many others. Thus, the quality of life and well-being of each one of us have become increasingly

during a health crisis, and how these influenced the lives of workers. The theme I propose to investigate is ”Pandemic
context in Portugal. The importance of work and the well-being of workers”. In this sense, an attempt was made to
determine whether the pandemic contributed to a greater risk of worker isolation, whether it negatively influenced the quality of
life and well-being of workers and whether workers were able to reconcile their private/family life with their professional life. To
answer the questions and these objectives, quantitative research was carried out, which is divided into two parts: the first
directed towards a theoretical analysis of the theme and the second part is directed towards an analysis of the results
obtained from the study's questionnaire. "Return to Work Post-Covid-19", developed by a team of researchers coordinated by Ana Paula Marques (ICS - University of Minho) and Rui Brites (ISEG - University of Lisbon).
