The FCD group aims at promoting the integration of research strengths in the search, production and characterization of new dielectric materials, along with the study of their fundamental properties and applications. The team includes researchers with complementary competences in crystal growth, thin film deposition and structural characterization as well as on the study of dielectric relaxation, pyroelectric and piezoelectric properties, optical birefringence and infrared spectroscopy.
