A investigação desenvolvida durante o ano é parte integrante deste relatório, caraterizando a
This report aims to describe my process for individual training, which was designed according to the development of professional knowledge and skills, as well as reflexion during the year of curricular training as a teacher of Physical Education. This report addresses the contextual framework, the pedagogical intervention in the teaching-learning process, participation in school and the relationship with the educational community. The research carried out during the year and is an integral part of this report, characterized the physical fitness and body composition, checking if there are differences as to the gender. There are several studies that describe the health benefits of a good physical fitness. The aim of this study was to characterize the Physical Fitness and Body Composition, and also check if there is a relationship between these variables. The sample consists of 51 students (29 boys and 22 girls), aged between 14 and 17 years, and the mean age 14.68 years. The results showed significant differences in the mile test (p≤0.01), 93.1 % of boys are in healthy zone, while only 57.1 % of girls are in this area of physical fitness. The level of strengh of arms the differences are statistically significant (p≤0.05). The boys have lower rates of strengh in the upper limbs with 41.4% of the girls with 71.4% of cases in the healthy zone. In other Fitnessgram testes found no significant differences between gender, however the most students is in the healthy zone in most of the components of physical fitness. In the comparison of the test of mile with the BMI results were statistically significant (p≤0.001), most of students who was in the area of healthy aerobic fitness is also in the area of healthy BMI, being 97.4 % of the cases. Comparing the sit and reach test, trunk extension, extension arms and abs was not found a significant relationship with the distribution of body mass (BMI). |
