Paper presented at the Occupational Safety and Hygiene II - Selected Extended and Revised Contributions from the International Symposium Occupational Safety and Hygiene, SHO 2014.
Resumo(s)This paper presents a literature review of anthropometric data collection to address occupational ergonomics issues. One of the uses of anthropometry is to assess the negative effects associated with working postures. Using new techniques, such as 3D body scanners, it is possible to have very reliable data to use in the en-hancement of workstation design or other ergonomic interventions, in order to prevent work-related musculo-skeletal disorders.
