A influência da música portuguesa no ensino do trombone

Abstract

Este Relatório de Estágio foi elaborado no âmbito da Intervenção Pedagógica Supervisionada, inserido no Mestrado em Ensino da Música da Universidade do Minho, tendo como principal objetivo recolher, organizar e expor a aplicação do projeto nas aulas ministradas no Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian, na cidade de Braga, com o intuito de promover e divulgar as composições portuguesas para trombone como método de aperfeiçoamento e motivação dos alunos no ensino vocacional de música. Os objetivos do Projeto consistiram em promover o reportório escrito por compositores portugueses para trombone, dar a conhecer o reportório mais recente escrito, enriquecer os conhecimentos dos alunos em relação ao reportório existente, desenvolver socialmente e culturalmente os estudantes enquanto intérpretes de obras nacionais, fomentar a curiosidade e o interesse pela audição, analisar o desenvolvimento e motivação dos alunos enquanto intérpretes autónomos, e motivar o interesse pela composição de novo repertório para trombone de autoria nacional. No projeto intervieram quatro alunos de trombone, o Quarteto de Saxofones e a Orquestra de Sopros do 5º, 6º e 7º ano do Conservatório Calouste Gulbenkian. Nos grupos de Música de Câmara o projeto foi aplicado segundo a orientação do Professor da disciplina, tendo sido trabalhado na Orquestra de Sopros uma obra portuguesa do conhecimento dos alunos. Nas aulas de trombone os alunos executaram reportório dos compositores portugueses Ricardo Matosinhos, Francisco Fontes e Paulo Loureiro. Foi ainda composta uma obra pelo autor do projeto com objetivos pedagógicos específicos, descritos no texto do relatório. A apreciação final dos alunos e dos professores intervenientes em relação ao tema desenvolvido neste projeto foi positiva, tendo o professor cooperante de instrumento decidido incluir novas obras de compositores portugueses no repertório a trabalhar com futuros alunos da classe de trombone.

This Internship Report is written as part of the Superintendence Pedagogical Intervention, included in the Music Teaching Master’s Degree of Minho University, and its main goal is to gather, organize and expose the project’s application in the classes that were taught in the Calouste Gulbenkian Music Conservatoire, in the city of Braga, to promote and diffuse the Portuguese compositions for trombone as an improvement and motivation method to the students of the vocational music course. The main objectives of this Project are to promote the repertoire written by portuguese composers for trombone, to make known the most recent repertoire written, enrich the students’ knowledge about the existing repertoire, develop the social and cultural profile of the students as interpreters of national works, promote the curiosity and interest in the audition, analyze the development and motivation of students while autonomous interpreters, motivate the interest by the composition of new repertoire for trombone of national authorship. The project involved four trombone students, the Saxophone Quartet and the Wind Orchestra of the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory. In the chamber music groups, the project was applied according to the direction of the teacher of the discipline, having been worked in the wind orchestra a portuguese work of students’ knowledge. In trombone lections the students performed repertoire written by Portuguese composers Ricardo Matosinhos, Francisco Fontes and Paulo Loureiro. It was also composed by the author of the project with specific pedagogical objectives, described in the text of the report. The final appreciation of the students and teachers involved in the theme developed in this project was positive, and the cooperating teacher of the instrument decided to include new works by portuguese composers in the repertoire to work with future students of the trombone class.
