As fontes do P. Joaquim Gonçalves para a criação do seu método contrastivo de ensino-aprendizagem do chinês: arte china e dicionários português-china e china-português

Abstract

O missionário lazarista Joaquim Afonso Gonçalves foi um sinólogo português muito conhecido na área de ensino-aprendizagem bilingue, português e chinês, tendo criado um método relativamente inovador. Poucos investigadores prestaram atenção às fontes de que poderá ter-se socorrido para a criação dos seus manuais: Arte China, Dicionários Chinês-Português e Português-Chinês. Faz-se neste trabalho o estudo aprofundado dessas obras a fim de identificar e analisar as suas fontes escritas, em particular as obras chinesas que mais o influenciaram no seu ensino-aprendizagem do chinês. São brevemente estudadas a biografia e a bibiografia geral do padre, bem como os motivos do ensino-aprendizagem de chinês entre os missionários na China, e as obras chinesas que influenciaram o pensamento e a visão da língua e da cultura patentes nas obras do padre. O estudo das fontes lidas e aproveitadas pelo padre nunca foi efetuado, e somente através dessa investigação será possível analisar a influência das obras chinesas na constituição do seu método de ensino-aprendizagem contrastivo e os seus traços inovadores já no século XIX.

遣使会传教士江沙维是一位葡萄牙汉学家，其颇为创新的葡汉语双向教学方法在 当时的欧洲汉学界享有盛名，影响深远。他的几部巨作 — 汉字文法，汉洋合字汇 及 洋汉合字汇 引用了大量来自古籍和明清章回小说的典故和对话，但遗憾的是，尚未有 研究者去关注他作品中汉语语料素材的出处。本论文尝试通过找寻和分析他创作的源 泉，了解江沙维神父自身掌握汉语与汉文化的途径，以及对他后来从事汉语教育有影 响的中文书籍。 本文将提及江沙维神父的生平事迹和他的作品，介绍在华传教士学习汉语的必要 性以及那些可能对江沙维神父了解中文、中国文化和习俗有影响的中文古籍和古典文 学作品。其中，系统归纳神父曾阅读并运用到其教材编写中的古籍和文学作品之内容， 是个从未有人涉足的新领域，我们可以由此进一步分析这些作品对于神父的影响以及 神父使用过的、 源于这些书籍中的汉语表达形式对其在十九世纪创造性双语教学方法 的意义。

The Vincentian missionary Joaquim Afonso Gonçalves was a Portuguese sinologist well known for his creative method in bilingual (Chinese and Portuguese) learning and teaching area. But few researchers paid attention to sources of his creation, which is important to comprehend deeply about the materials in his serie of books (Chinese Grammar, Dictionaries Chinese-Portuguese and Portuguese-Chinese). Through searching and analyzing the written sources of his creation, we can know which chinese books had influence in his Chinese learning and teaching process. I'll brevely show his biography and bibliography, introduce the reasons of the Chinese teaching-learning as a doomed trend among missionaries in China, and the Chinese books that would influence the priest‗s ideias about the Chinese language, culture and rituals. The study of books possibily used by the priest is very interesting and new, maybe we can analyze the influence of books to our missionary and the meanings of the materials used to his creative method of bilingual teaching-learning.
