Expressão e Comunicação na Creche e no Jardim de Infância: a música e o seu contributo no desenvolvimento de múltiplas linguagens

Abstract

O presente relatório de Estágio tem por base o projecto de intervenção pedagógica desenvolvido ao longo da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar da Universidade do Minho. O projecto Expressão e Comunicação na Creche e no Jardim de Infância: A música e o seu contributo no desenvolvimento de múltiplas linguagens nasce da necessidade de enriquecimento das competências de comunicação e do enorme interesse pela expressividade e representação criativa. Como tal, foram desenvolvidas atividades com uma forte componente musical, que associada a outras formas artísticas, tinham por principais objectivos: desenvolver a expressão e comunicação através de linguagens múltiplas ao favorecer o contacto, a compreensão e o progressivo domínio de diferentes formas de linguagem; despertar a curiosidade, o pensamento crítico, a sensibilização estética e a compreensão do mundo aliado ao prazer de realizar novas experiências; favorecer o progressivo domínio do “instrumento” – corpo – de relação com o mundo, através das diferentes formas de movimento e por fim, averiguar o papel da música e seu contributo no desenvolvimento de múltiplas linguagens. Assim, apoiado sobre uma metodologia de investigação-ação, e recorrendo a diversos instrumentos de recolha de dados como, o diário de bordo, a entrevista, os registos fotográficos e de vídeo, gravações áudio, grelhas de observação e notas de campo, estruturou-se o respectivo relatório. Ao longo do projecto as crianças demonstraram interesse, empenho e curiosidade pelas actividades que realizaram intensamente. O impacto do projecto foi maior que o esperado, com extremo valor pedagógico, demonstrando que é possível comunicar com significado através de diferentes formas de expressão não verbais, e não somente a linguagem oral/verbal.

The present report of Internship is based on the project of pedagogical intervention developed during the Supervised Teaching Practice, within the scope of the Master in Pre-School Education of the University of Minho. The Expression and Communication project in Day Care and Kindergarten: Music and its contribution in the development of multiple languages arises from the need to enrich communication skills and the enormous interest in expressivity and creative representation. As such, activities were developed with a strong musical component, which associated with other artistic forms, had as main objectives: to develop expression and communication through multiple languages by favoring contact, understanding and progressive mastery of different forms of language; awakening curiosity, critical thinking, aesthetic awareness and understanding of the world combined with the pleasure of new experiences; to favor the progressive mastery of the "instrument" - body - of relation with the world, through the different forms of movement and, finally, to ascertain the role of music and its contribution in the development of multiple languages. Thus, based on an actionresearch methodology, and using various data collection instruments such as logbook, interview, photographic and video recordings, audio recordings, observation grids and field notes, if the respective report. Throughout the project the children showed interest, commitment and curiosity for the activities they carried out intensely. The impact of the project was greater than expected, with an extreme pedagogical value, demonstrating that it is possible to communicate meaningfully through different forms of nonverbal expression, not just oral / verbal language.
