Consciência, mudança, silhueta, affect, imponderable, reflexo: a viagem da Alice

Abstract

O tema do habitar acompanha a história da arquitetura e a história do ser humano desde o princípio. Considera-se habitar como condição intrínseca ao ser humano. Face a isto, procurou-se compreender de que forma se poderia abordar o tema do habitar, e do espaço para habitar, de uma forma mais ampla e descomprometida com quaisquer constrangimentos externos à condição de indivíduo. Encontrou-se no assunto da primeira pessoa o âmago da questão do habitar. E é a partir dele que se desenvolvem as páginas desta dissertação. A primeira parte designa-se a Consciência e desenvolve o assunto do eu e do nós na sua definição. Sob um ponto de vista interdisciplinar procura-se compreender qual o elenco de preocupações inerentes a estes dois temas. Nesta parte, afirma-se o que é consciente nesta dissertação. Esta consciência será a base para poder pensar, abordar e desenhar espaço em função da primeira pessoa, sem mais nenhuma base que não a circunstancia. Numa segunda parte aparecerá o Espelho. Aqui faz-se um ensaio sobre como espaço habitado poderá ser pensado enquanto reflexo da primeira pessoa singular e plural. Fala-se em reflexo singular e plural. Esta parte divide-se em duas partes. Na primeira experimenta-se idealizar um enunciado com as diretrizes para pensar um lugar que espelhe o eu - locus do eu, e um lugar que espelhe o nós - locus do nós. Na segunda, parte experimenta-se a aplicação deste enunciado a uma circunstância. Recorre-se a personagens do livro Alice no País das Maravilhas - enquanto eus a ser experimentados - e ao Palacete do Bom Jardim - a base infraestrutural para a construção de um País de Maravilhas. A Alice, criada um dia por Lewis Carroll, é aquela que acompanha esta dissertação desde o princípio até ao fim. O carater onírico desta personagem permite que ela seja o espelho de todo assunto desta dissertação.

The subject of dwell follows the history of architecture and the history of the human being since the begining. Regard dwell as an intrisical condition to the human being. Considering this, it was looked for to comprehend in what way it was able to approach the subject of dwell, and the space of dwell, in a broader and uncompromised way without any outside constrictions to the individual condition. It was found in the theme of the first person the core of the question about dwell. And it is from here that it is developed the pages from this theses. The first it it is called Consciousness and it develops the subject of I and the subject of We in it’s definition. Under an interdisciplinary point of view, it is looked for which are the cast of inherent worries to these two subjects. In this part, it is asserted what is Consciousness in this theses. This Consciousness will be the base for the ability to think, to approach and to draw space in function of the first person, without anymore base that’s circumstantial. In a second part it will appear the Mirror. Here it is made an rehearsal on how the habited space could be planned as a reflexion of the singular and plural first person. It is talked about singular and plural reflection. This part it is divided in two parts. In the first it is experimented to idealize a statement with the guidelines to think in a place that mirrors the I- locus of I, and a place that mirrors the we- locus of we. In the second part it is experimented the application of this statement in a circumstance. It is appealed for characters of the book of Alice in The Wonderland- as I’s to be experimented- and to the Palacete do Bom Jardim- infrastructural base for the construction of an Wonderland. Alice, created by Lewis Carroll, it is she that goes along with this theses since the beginning to the end. The dreamlike character of Alice allows the she gets to be the mirror of the subject of this theses.
