Uma circum-navegação lusófona no YouTube: influenciadores, celebridades e actantes digitais

Abstract

Internet e ecrã objetivam “a era do ecrã-global” (Lipovetsky & Serroy, 2010). A esta dinâmica não é alheia a contingência lusófona. E com o YouTube, nasceram novas formas de “associação” (Latour, 2012). Sendo esta uma rede que também constitui um “espaço de cultura” da lusofonia (Martins, 2015), investigou-se aqui a relação entre as “comunidades lusófonas” e esse “ecrã-global”. Este estudo tinha duas missões: a) a de mapear o top5 de preferências de visualização no YouTube países lusófonos; b) e a de perceber quais as forças arquetípicas mais presentes em cada país analisado. Este mapeamento e a consequente descrição das forças arquetípicas conseguem descrever partes da “pele da cultura” (Kerkhove, 1997) na lusofonia, fornencendo bases para análises mais profundas.

Internet and screen synthesize “the age of the global screen” (Lipovetsky & Serroy, 2010). This dynamic is not unrelated to the Lusophone contingency. And with YouTube, new forms of “association” were born (Latour, 2012). Since this is a network that also constitutes a “culture space” of Lusophone (Martins, 2015), we investigated the relationship between “Lusophone communities” and this “global screen”. This study had two missions: a) to map the top5 of viewing preferences on YouTube Lusophone countries; b) and to understand which archetypal forces are most present in each country analyzed. This mapping and the consequent description of archetypal forces can describe parts of the “skin of culture” (Kerkhove, 1997) in Lusophony, providing the basis for deeper analysis.
