O livro - alfabeto como meio facilitador da dinâmica de grupo

Abstract

O presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, nomeadamente em contexto de Educação Pré-escolar e no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Optando por trabalhar uma tipologia de livros específica, em concreto o livro-alfabeto, procurou-se, sobretudo, compreender as conceções iniciais das crianças relativas a estes objetos, bem como explorar diferentes obras integradas nesta tipologia. As observações realizadas em contexto de estágio pré-escolar relativas à dinâmica de grupo e à área da biblioteca, bem como o interesse nos grafemas e fonemas por parte desse mesmo grupo de crianças, despertaram em nós um desejo de trabalhar os livros e a literatura para a infância, a consequente melhoria da área da biblioteca e alguma ação interventiva no que diz respeito à exploração de certos valores particulares. Assim, como sugerimos, centrámos a nossa atenção na tipologia de livros designada livros-alfabeto ou livros-abecedário. O projeto acabou por ser totalmente transversal ao primeiro ciclo, dado que trabalhámos com uma turma de primeiro ano e intercalámos a exploração da tipologia de livros livros-alfabeto ou livros-abecedário com o ensino do alfabeto. O projeto acabou por ter maior incidência no pré-escolar, uma vez que, durante o contexto de estágio de 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, fomos confrontados com a pandemia Covid- 19 e as escolas encerraram, recorrendo ao ensino à distância como alternativa para finalizar o ano letivo. A Prática de Ensino Supervisionada I e II e a implementação do projeto cujo relatório se apresenta foram realizados tendo por base a metodologia Investigação-Ação, sendo que se optou por recolher dados através de diferentes instrumentos e estratégias próprios da mesma.

This report was developed within the scope of Supervised Teaching Practice, namely in the context of Pre-school Education and in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. Choosing to work on a specific typology of books, specifically the alphabet book, we tried, above all, to understand the children's initial conceptions related to these objects, as well as to explore different literacy titles integrated in this typology. The observations made in the context of pre-school internship related to the groups dynamic and the library area, as well as the interest in graphemes and phonemes by this same group of children, aroused in us a desire to work on books and literature for childhood, the on going improvement of the library area and some interventionist action with regard to the exploration of certain particular values. Thus, as we suggested, we focused our attention on the typology of books called alphabet books or ABC books. The project turned out to be totally transversal to the first cycle given that we worked with a first-year class and merged the exploration of the typology called the alphabet books or ABC books with the teaching of the alphabet. The project ended up having a higher incidence in pre-school, since, during the context of internship of 1st Cycle of Basic Education, we were confronted with the pandemic Covid-19 and schools closed, resulting in learning at a distance as an alternative way to end the academic year. The Supervised Teaching Practice I and II and the implementation of the project whose report is presented were carried out based on the Research-Action methodology, and it was decided to collect data through different instruments and strategies of the same.
