| Resumo(s): | Heritage Hotel is a type of accommodation in the category of Hotels, which distinguishes itself by particular heritage characteristics. While historic buildings have been used for lodging for a long time, the introduction of the concept of heritage in the tourism industry and in the accommodation sector is quite more recent. Heritage broadly means what is inherited or acquired from the past, and in the context of Hotels it may represent various aspects from historical features of the building and iconic architecture (James, 2018; Peleggi, 2012), ethnic characteristics and hospitality services (Chhabra, 2015), design aspects, furniture to gardens. |
