Resistência à intermediação pelos ecrãs/telas conectadas

Abstract

Este trabalho debaterá o peso das lógicas tecno-econômicas que organizam as relações sociotécnicas das plata-formas sociais digitais. Para tanto, serão utilizados referenciais teóricos sobre economia de atenção, algoritmo e plataformas. Como estudos de caso, serão apresentados resultados de inquéritos semi estruturados não proba-bilísticos, sobre processos informativos, intermediados por ecrãs/telas conectadas na web, como o interesse por emigrar, a motivação para escolha de voto, a avaliação da cobertura da imprensa sobre o movimento Black Lives Matter e sobre a primeira onda/vaga de covid-19. O período de tais amostras se dá entre 2019 e 2021, e compor-tam o chamado período pandêmico de 2020, quando a intermediação da vida via equipamentos de comunicação e informação se acentuou, dado que grande parte da população mundial teve que cumprir isolamento e afasta-mento social. Como resultados, percebe-se que houve resistência por parte dos consumidores de informação em relação às notícias da imprensa, opiniões de influenciadores ou resultados de debate em grupos de redes sociais

This work will discuss the weight of the techno-economic logics that organize the socio-technical relations of digital social platforms. For that, theoretical references on attention economy, algorithms and platforms will be used. As case studies, results of semi-structured, non-probabilistic inquiries about information processes will be presented, intermediated by screens connected to the web, such as interest in emigrating, motivation to choose a vote, evaluation of press coverage of the movement Black Lives Matter and about the first wave / wave of covid-19. The period of such samples takes place between 2019 and 2021, and includes the so-called pandemic period of 2020, when the intermediation of life via communication and information equipment became more pronounced, given that a large part of the world population had to fulfill isolation and social isolation. As a result, it is perceived that there was resistance on the part of consumers of information in relation to news in the press, opinions of influencers or results of debate in groups of social networks.
