Educação Pré-Escolar e 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
Educação Para a Cidadania, etc.
a educação emocional, enquanto promotoras do desenvolvimento pessoal, social, emocional e cognitivo
This internship report emerges within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice carried out in the second year of the Master in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, presenting the result of the intervention and research project developed in the contexts of Pre-School Education -School and 1st Cycle of Basic Education. Considering the observations carried out in educational contexts, it was found that the children revealed some weaknesses in relation to the management and understanding of their emotions, resulting in several conflicts between peers, integration difficulties, self-knowledge and motivation for learning. In this perspective, since emotions are an intrinsic characteristic of every human being and being fully aware of the importance of emotional education for the formation and integral development of children, the involvement of children in promoting learning experiences was established as a focus of intervention. of the understanding and regulation of emotions in order to understand how emotions open the way to cognition and contribute to self-knowledge and improvement of interpersonal relationships, sustaining the praxeological epistemology on the contributions of emotions to the improvement of learning in Basic Education. The planning and implementation of the intervention and research project followed a qualitative paradigm and was oriented according to the assumptions of the Action-Research methodology, using various techniques, such as participant observation, document analysis, interview survey, and instruments data collection, such as field notes, audiovisual records, children's productions, Curriculae Guidelines for Pre-School Education, Educational Project, Student Profile after Compulsory Schooling, Essential Learning, National Citizenship Education Strategy, etc. Thus, through the present work, it became feasible to deepen several essential theoretical and pedagogical knowledge for the construction of the professional profile, as well as to assess the feasibility and importance of developing practices aimed at emotional education, while promoting personal development, social, emotional and cognitive of children in Pre-School Education and in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, confirming the hypothesis initially established. Furthermore, it was possible to verify the relevance of permanent reflection on professional practice and understanding that professional and personal development is continuous throughout life. |
