O sistema Prezi nas travessias conceptuais de Robert Rauschenberg

Abstract

O projecto “O Sistema Prezi nas Travessias Conceptuais de Robert Rauschenberg” assenta na aplicação das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação como um recurso educativo de carácter não-formal — RAUSCHENBERG: fusões — com vista ao desenvolvimento de competências específicas no domínio da História da Arte. O trabalho produzido tem o seu enfoque na vida e obra do artista americano Robert Rauschenberg (1925-2008) e explora as potencialidades da plataforma e do software Prezi enquanto ferramenta de autoria multimédia em ambiente flash. Caracterizado pela operacionalização simples e intuitiva e pela capacidade de criação de documentos hipertexto/hipermédia de leitura não sequencial, o sistema Prezi apresenta-se como alternativa a outras aplicações multimédia de produção de apresentações. Constitui uma ferramenta educativa passível de estimular o empenho e a curiosidade das novas gerações de alunos, em particular alunos do nível de Ensino Secundário, para o desenvolvimento de uma cultura visual.

The project “The Prezi System in the Conceptual Crossings of Robert Rauschenberg” is based on Information and Communication Technologies used as a non-formal educational resource — RAUSCHENBERG: fusões — aiming specific skills in the Art History domain. The present work focus on the art and life of the American artist Robert Rauschenberg (1925-2008) exploring the abilities of the Prezi platform and software as a flash based, multimedia presentation editor. Characterized by its simple and intuitive operations and the ability to create hypertext/hypermedia documents, with non-sequential reading, the Prezi system represents an alternative to other known presentation multimedia applications. It is an educational tool able to stimulate engagement and curiosity within new generations of students, in particular those in high-school level, contributing for the development of a visual culture.
