Warm feeling cosmetic textile

Abstract

The perception of warm feeling of cotton and polyamide finished with chamomile extract and Capsicum tincture was analyzed. Objective tests such as thermal conductivity, thermal absorptivity and thermal resistance of samples were conduced to evaluate the treatment effect in terms of thermal insulation properties of the materials. By another hand, sensorial tests were performed by a panel of 100 people. The obtained thermal properties results are contradictory in terms of the warm effect sensation described by the majority of panel members.
