Otimização de estruturas metálicas modelares recorrendo a perfis mistos

Abstract

Este relatório tem como função descrever o projecto realizado no âmbito da Dissertação de mestrado, integrado no 5º ano do Mestrado Integrado em Engenharia Mecânica, da Universidade do Minho. Este trabalho foi realizado no âmbito de um estágio curricular, na empresa O Feliz Metalomecânica S.A, onde foi feito um estudo das estruturas mais requisitadas à empresa, com o objectivo de obter um documento de fácil consulta, com os perfis necessários para cada estrutura. Para a execução deste projecto é necessário definir as acções que actuam nas estruturas e quantifica-las, e para tal são usadas as normas em vigor, nomeadamente os Eurocódigos e o Regulamento de Segurança e Acções para Estruturas de Edifícios e Pontes. Das acções que actuam neste tipo de estruturas, a mais complexa de quantificar é a acção do vento, pois é variável, de acordo com a altura do edifício, da sua localização, da área exterior dos edifícios, da direcção do vento e actua de forma diferente nas diversas zonas do edifício. Esta dificuldade faz com que boa parte do relatório aborde o cálculo desta acção. Para além da definição e quantificação das acções que actuam nas estruturas, é necessário analisá-las, e para tal foi utilizado o software Autodesk Robot Structural Analisys, através do qual são efectuados os cálculos estruturais e o cálculo de algumas ligações importantes. Após uma breve introdução, vem um pequeno estudo sobre o estado da arte, de seguida tem-se os fundamentos teóricos, determinação das acções do vento nas estruturas, o cálculo estrutural dos edifícios, o estudo das ligações, os resultados obtidos, a discussão dos resultados, as conclusões e por último as propostas para trabalhos futuros. Como resultado final deste projecto obtém-se três documentos distintos, um com a análise de todos os edifícios para seis tipos de travamentos diferentes, outro com as soluções mais vantajosas de cada edifício e por último um documento com as características das ligações estudadas.

This document has like function to describe the project realized within the dissertation, which belongs to the 5th year of the Integrated Masters in Mechanical Engineering, of the University of Minho. This work was realized in ambit of curricular stage, in the company O Feliz Metalomecânica S.A, where a study was made of the structures most requested company, in order to obtain an easy consultation document, with the profiles required for each structural element. For the implementation of this is necessary to define the actions that act on structures, and quantify them, and are used for such rules, including the Eurocodes and Safety Regulations and Actions for Structures of Buildings and Bridges. Actions operating in this type of structures, the more complex to quantify is the effect of the wind, because is variable, according to building height, your location, the area outside the buildings, wind direction, and acts differently in different areas of the building. This difficulty makes much of the report deals with this topic. In addition to defining and quantifying the actions which act on structures, is necessary to analyze them, and for this was used Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, whereby the structural calculations and the calculation of some important connections are realized. After a brief introduction, comes a small study on the state of the art, then it has the theoretical foundations, the determination of wind actions in the structures, the structural calculation of the buildings, the study of connections, the obtained results, the discussion of the results, the conclusions and lastly the proposals for future work. As a final result of this project we obtain three separate documents, one with the analysis of all buildings for six different types of lockups, one with the most viable solutions for each building and finally a document with the characteristics of the studied connections.
