O estilo andrógino contemporâneo: um desvio do imaginário em busca de um novo arquétipo do género?

Abstract

A separação entre sexo e género pertenceu, desde sempre, ao imaginário dos indivíduos, materializando-se a diversos níveis socioculturais e científicos. O Ser Humano é uma criatura que alimenta, continuamente, o espírito no imaginário coletivo — um património existencial subestimado, que escapa aos limites da lógica préestabelecida pelas teias do coletivo, do macrocosmo social. Proveniente de uma tendência francesa, dos anos 80, o estilo andrógino alastrou-se rapidamente pelo mundo e levanta, atualmente, fortes controversas. O corpo, a voz, os gestos e as expressões refletem “sintomas” ambíguos, fortemente presentes em diversas celebridades mediáticas e numerosos indivíduos comuns. Assim, este artigo propõe uma reflexão que lobrigue um estado «unisex», cada vez mais natural, que tem vindo a coligar dualidades e antagonismos, até agora estanques na «consciência bimodal» (Singer, 1990) coletiva milenar do Ser Humano, num processo alquímico remodelador que perpassa o próprio Arquétipo do Género.

The separation between sex and gender had always been part of the imaginary of individuals and materialized in several socio-cultural and scientific levels. The Human Being have continuously nourished his spirit in the collective imaginary - an existential and underestimated asset, that escapes the logic’s limits standardized by the collective’s tissues; a social macrocosm. Originally from a French movement in 80’s, the androgynous style quickly spread around the world and currently have been raise a strong controversial. The body, the voice, gestures and expressions reveal ambiguous “symptoms”, strongly present in many media’s celebrities and furthermore in ordinary individuals. Therefore, this paper proposes a reflection about a ‘unisex’ way of being ever more natural, that joins the dualities and the antagonisms secluded up to now in the collective and millennial “ bimodal consciousness “ (Singer, 1990) of the Human Being, in an alchemical process that surpasses the very Archetype of Gender.
