Relatório de atividade profissional

Abstract

O presente relatório de atividade profissional constitui uma reflexão crítica de dezoito anos de docência, enquanto professora de Física e Química. Foi elaborado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ciências – Formação contínua de professores, área de especialização de Física e Química, ao abrigo do despacho RT – 38/2011, cuja aplicação é regulamentada pela circular VRT/RVC-01/2012. Está organizado em cinco capítulos, dos quais constam uma introdução, o enquadramento científico, os projetos desenvolvidos, a formação adquirida e os trabalhos científicos elaborados. No desenvolvimento de cada um destes capítulos é feita uma reflexão crítica do impacto na minha atividade profissional como docente e na promoção do sucesso escolar dos meus alunos. Na introdução, referem-se as razões que levaram à escolha do tema “A Tabela Periódica”, enquadrando-o no âmbito dos programas curriculares da disciplina de Físico-Química do terceiro ciclo e do ensino secundário. O desenvolvimento do tema escolhido é realizado no segundo capítulo. É feita uma retrospetiva histórica da evolução da Tabela Periódica e uma análise da sua organização. Referem-se ainda as perspetivas da sua evolução, tendo em consideração o desenvolvimento do conhecimento científico e tecnológico. No terceiro capítulo são expostos alguns projetos de caráter científico e faz-se uma reflexão das mais-valias no sucesso e na formação escolar dos meus alunos. No quarto capítulo analisa-se o impacto que algumas formações tiveram na atualização e enriquecimento dos meus conhecimentos científicos. Da forma como tal se refletiu na prática docente e nas aprendizagens dos meus alunos. No quinto capítulo referem-se alguns trabalhos científicos que contribuíram para o enriquecimento da minha formação académica. O conhecimento é um dos nossos bens mais preciosos e deve ser partilhado, para ter utilidade. Nós, os professores, temos o privilégio de ter essa partilha por missão, na nossa profissão. Deve ser nossa preocupação não só transmitir aos nossos alunos conhecimentos cientificamente corretos, mas também estimular a sua criatividade e autonomia, o seu interesse e curiosidade, promovendo o desenvolvimento integral de cada um. “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. This report professional activity is a critical reflection of eighteen years of teaching Physics and Chemistry. Was developed within the Master degree of Science – Further Education for Teacher in the specialization of Physics and Chemistry, according to the Rector’s document RT - 38/2011, whose application is regulated by circular VRT / RVC-01/2012. Is organized into five chapters, which contain an introduction, the scientific framework, developed projects, the training received and the elaborate scientific papers. In the development of each of these chapters, is made a critical reflection of the impact on my professional activities as a teacher and in promoting academic success of my students. The introduction, refer to the reasons that led to the choice of the theme "The Periodic Table", framing it within the curriculum of the Physics and Chemistry of the third cycle and of the secondary education level. The development of the chosen topic is performed in the second chapter. A historical retrospective of the evolution of the Periodic Table and an analysis of its organization is made. Still refer to the prospects of its development, taking into account the development of scientific and technological knowledge. The third chapter exposed some scientific projects and a reflection of the gains in the success and development of students. The fourth chapter analyzes the impact that some enrichment training had on my scientific knowledge update. How this was reflected in teaching practice and on student learning. The fifth chapter refers to some scientific papers that have contributed to the enrichment of my academic training. Knowledge is one of our most precious and must be shared to be useful assets. We, as teachers, have the privilege of this mission in our profession. Our concern should be not only convey to our students scientifically correct knowledge, but also stimulate their creativity and autonomy, their interest and curiosity, fostering integral development of each one. “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple.
