Aprender com os outros: uma aprendizagem cooperativa centrada no Projeto Curricular Integrado

Abstract

A sala de aula é o local por excelência onde nos é possível perceber a importância da cooperação no processo de aprendizagem, assumindo maior relevância quando se trata de crianças e jovens. O presente relatório, intitulado “Aprender com os outros: Uma Aprendizagem Cooperativa centrada no Projeto Curricular Integrado” é parte integrante do trabalho realizado no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Pretende-se aqui perceber a importância que a cooperação ocupa no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, identificando as principais influências e constrangimentos. O projeto “Pequenos Investigadores: Vamos explorar as Tradições e os Costumes de Braga?” nasceu da resposta aos interesses dos alunos, percebendo que a principal motivação incidia no conhecimento das tradições da sua cidade. Partimos então para a construção de um projeto curricular integrado pois, consideramos que a aprendizagem através de projetos permite aos alunos aprofundar ideias e questões do seu interesse, envolvê-los em atividades diferenciadas e construir os seus saberes a partir das suas próprias experiências. Simultaneamente, não esquecendo os interesses e necessidades do grupo, procurou-se fortalecer e experienciar a cooperação, através da partilha de experiências e ideias, estimulando a comunicação e o fortalecimento das relações enquanto grupo, considerando sempre que cada elemento influencia positivamente o grupo, através das suas perspetivas e experiências. Sendo um trabalho de investigação-ação, não podemos esquecer que a pesquisa e reflexão constante sobre a ação permitiram melhorar todo o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, especialmente relacionadas com a construção do projeto curricular integrado e com o percurso evolutivo no que respeita à cooperação entre os vários elementos da turma, tornando-os mais autónomos e solidários. Assim, as conclusões mais relevantes confirmam os contributos do projeto curricular integrado no desenvolvimento de competências do saber ser, saber estar e saber viver juntos, valorizando estratégias de cooperação e participação em trabalhos de grupo para a construção partilhada de conhecimentos.

The classroom is the place par excellence where it is possible to realize the importance of cooperation in the learning process, assuming greater relevance when it comes to children and youngsters. The present report, entitled “Learning from others: A cooperative learning centered in the Integrated Curricular Project” is an integral part of the work performed under Supervised Teaching Practice II, within the Master in Preschool Education and Teaching in the First Cycle of Basic Education. The intention here is to demonstrate the importance that cooperation takes in the teaching and learning process, identifying the main influences and constraints. The project “Little investigators: let´s explore the traditions and customs of Braga?” was born in response to students’ interests, after we realized that their main motivation was focused on the knowledge of the traditions of their city. Thus we proceeded to build an integrated curricular project because we believe that learning through projects allows students to work on ideas and issues of their interest, engage them in differentiated activities and build their knowledge from their own experiences. Simultaneously, not forgetting the interests and needs of the group, we sought to strengthen and experience cooperation through the sharing of experiences and ideas, encouraging communication and strengthening relationships as a group, always considering that each element influences positively the group, through their perspectives and experiences. Being this a research-action work, we cannot forget that the constant research and reflection on action allowed the improvement of the whole process of teaching and learning, especially those related to the construction of the integrated curricular project and to the development path of cooperation between the various elements of the class, making them more autonomous and supportive. Therefore, the most relevant conclusions confirm the contribution of the integrated curricular project in the development of skills such as to know how to be, to know how to behave, and to know how to live together, valuing cooperation strategies and participation in group work in the pursuit of shared knowledge building.
