Estratégias de ensino-aprendizagem de obras musicais com e sem recurso à partitura: vantagens e desvantagens

Abstract

O projeto apresentado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Música visa realizar um estudo comparativo sobre estratégias de ensino-aprendizagem de obras musicais com e sem recurso à partitura. O intuito é comparar o processo evolutivo de aprendizagem de dois grupos de alunos, denominados grupo de controlo e grupo experimental, sendo aplicadas estratégias de ensino do instrumento sem recurso à partitura, no grupo experimental. A motivação para a escolha e estudo do tema referido surge da curiosidade em saber quais as possíveis vantagens de promover nos alunos de instrumento um trabalho de carácter principalmente auditivo, fundamentado na memorização, e quais as repercussões que essa metodologia terá na abordagem a uma obra musical, desde o início do seu estudo até ao domínio total da mesma. Apesar de dificuldades inerentes tais como: a extensão da obra, o tempo disponível para a implementação do projeto e a capacidade individual de cada aluno, creio que os resultados permitiram tirar conclusões interessantes que reforçam como positiva a abordagem auditiva, principalmente num aluno que se encontra na fase inicial da sua aprendizagem instrumental.

The project submitted under the Master of Music Education aims to conduct a comparative study on the teaching-learning strategies of musical works with or without the use of sheet music. The purpose is to compare the evolutionary learning process of two groups of students, called the control group and experimental group, being applied teaching strategies of the instrument without resort to sheet music, in the experimental group. The motivation for the choice and study of this subject comes from my curiosity of knowing what is the possible advantage to foster in instrument students a more auditory work based on memorization and what is the impact that this methodology will have on the approach to a musical work, from the beginning of its study to its performance. Despite inherent difficulties such as the extent of the musical work, the time available for the project implementation, as well as the individual ability of each student, I believe that the results helped to draw interesting conclusions that reinforce as positive the auditory approach, mainly to a student who is at the initial phase of its instrumental learning process.
