Avaliação experimental do comportamento de ligadores metálicos ao corte

Abstract

Com o objetivo de avaliar o comportamento da ligação de paredes de tijolo face à vista a paredes de alvenaria de enchimento, foi definida uma campanha de ensaios de caracterização experimental do comportamento de diferentes tipos de ligadores sujeitos a diferentes configurações de carga, nomeadamente de ações monotónicas e cíclicas de tração, compressão e corte. Neste trabalho, apresentam-se os resultados dos ensaios de corte das ligações entre parede de tijolo face à vista e as paredes de enchimento de alvenaria para avaliar o comportamento das ligações ao corte, que poderá ser induzido em eventos sísmicos. A partir deste trabalho experimental foi possível: (i) avaliar a influência de diferentes características dos ligadores, nomeadamente espessura, geometria e rigidez no comportamento ao corte; (ii) avaliar o comportamento de um ligador que poderá ser introduzido em situações de reabilitação através da utilização de ancoragem química e (iii) definir o comportamento histerético dos diferentes ligadores.

In order to evaluate the behaviour of the connections of brick veneers walls to masonry infills walls inserted in frame concrete, an experimental campaign was developed in order to characterize different types of connectors subject to different load configurations, including compression, tension and shear loads under monotonic and cyclic loading. In this work, the results of the connections subjected to shear loads are presented. So, we tried to replicate local behaviour of the connections of this constructive system, and understand the behaviour of these connections subjected to actions in the plan of the walls due to seismic action, which may induce shear tensions in wall ties. From this experimental work was possible: (i) to evaluate the influence of different characteristics of connectors, including thickness, geometry and stiffness in the shear behaviour; (Ii) to evaluate the performance of wall ties that can be introduced in rehabilitation situations through the use of chemical anchoring; (Iii) to define the hysteretic behaviour of different wall ties.
