Perceções sobre o trabalho de projeto na aprendizagem de testes de hipóteses

Abstract

Neste estudo analisam-se as perceções dos alunos sobre a metodologia de trabalho de projeto na aprendizagem de testes de hipótese com a ajuda de tecnologia. Da amostra faziam parte 37 alunos da Licenciatura de Engenharia Informática do Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, do ano 2014-15. Os alunos, organizados em pequenos grupos, realizaram um trabalho de projeto sobre a aplicação de testes de hipóteses. Ora, são as perceções dos alunos sobre a realização desse trabalho de projeto que são estudadas no presente estudo, sendo que os resultados mostram que, em geral, os alunos valorizaram essa metodologia de trabalho.

In this study we intend to analyze the students’ perceptions about the project work methodology in the learning of hypothesis tests with the help of technology. The sample comprised 37 students of the Informatics Engineering’s Bachelor of the Higher Institute of Engineering of Porto, from the year 2014-15. The students, organized in small groups, carried out a project work on the application of hypothesis tests. So, it is students’ perceptions about the accomplishment of this project work that are studied in the present study, and the results show that, in general, students valued the project work methodology.
