O caso da educação desfundamentada

Abstract

Partindo do princípio que, a partir dos finais do século XIX, se começa a assistir a um lento processo de desfundamentação da educação e ensino tradicionais, tenta-se acompanhar este itinerário até aos nossos dias. Finalmente, mostra-se como esse processo de desfundamentação ganha maior inteligibilidade se for analisado à luz dos desafios que nos são colocados pela entrada numa sociedade e cultura genericamente consideradas pós-modernas.

Based on the premise that towards the end of the 19th century a slow process of erosion began to occur as regards the foundations of education and traditional schooling, this essay attempts to trace the itinerary of this cultural fact up to the present time. In conclusion, it demonstrates how this progressive loss of foundations can be better understood when analysed in the light of the challenges coming from our insertion in a society and culture which are generally considered as post-modern.
