Estudo e implementação do sistema informático Silex na empresa Be Stitch

Abstract

A customização em massa consiste no paradigma de produção mais assente nos dias de hoje nas organizações que dependem fortemente das exigências dos seus clientes e com a ambição de se destacarem face à elevada concorrência do mercado. No entanto, dada à crescente diversidade de artigos que este tipo de produção implica, implementá-la numa empresa envolve desafios, principalmente ao nível da gestão de informação de artigos (PDM) por suportar todas as funções da gestão da produção. Assim, as tecnologias e sistemas de informação, mais concretamente sistemas de gestão empresarial (ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning), são outros fatores determinantes para sucesso das organizações por permitir através da integração da informação que estas sejam mais eficientes. Face a este contexto e em resposta a um melhor funcionamento ao nível do Planeamento e Controlo da Produção (PCP), com a crescente expansão, a empresa Be Stitch direcionada para a produção de artigos têxteis para o lar decidiu inovar ao investir num Sistema Informático (SI), que perante a ambição dos dirigentes da empresa, este terá de se adaptar à forma como esta opera e gera a informação. Com as fases de análise, seleção e levantamento de requisitos efetuadas, mas ainda numa fase inicial, o presente projeto surgiu como intuito de dar seguimento ao desenvolvimento do software – denominado por Silex – sendo apresentadas e especificadas as principais funcionalidades concebidas, implementadas e testadas até agosto de 2018.

Mass customization is the most current production paradigm in organizations that depend heavily on the demands of their customers and with the ambition to stand out from the high competition in the market. However, given the increasing diversity of products that this type of production implies, implementing it in a company involves challenges, mainly in the Product Data Management (PDM), because it supports all the functions of production management. Thus, information technology and systems, more specifically Enterprise Resource Planning are other determining factors for the success of organizations by allowing through the integration of information that these are more efficient. Against this background and in response to a better functioning in the Planning and Production Control, with the increasing expansion, the company Be Stitch directed to the production of textile articles for the home decided to innovate investing in an information system, that before the ambition of the leaders of the company, it will have to adapt to the way in which it operates and generates the information. With the phases of analysis, selection and survey of requirements carried out, but still in an initial phase, the present project appeared as a follow-up to software development - called Silex - being presented and specified the main functionalities designed, implemented and tested until now.
