A homossexualidade na China e em Portugal: pesquisa e comparação

Abstract

A homossexualidade é um fenómeno omnipresente ao longo da história. No entanto, existem diferenças no desenvolvimento da cultura homossexual nas várias sociedades, nomeadamente na chinesa e ocidental, onde se inclui a portuguesa. Esta dissertação explora as semelhanças e diferenças mais significativas, ao longo da história e, sobretudo, na atualidade, entre a vida e circunstâncias dos homossexuais nas duas nações, focando as suas dimensões históricas, culturais e legais. Diferentes contextos culturais e civilizacionais resultaram num desenvolvimento e inclusão da homossexualidade bem diferente nestes países. O presente trabalho está dividido em três partes. Em primeiro lugar, compara a história e o desenvolvimento da homossexualidade em Portugal e na China. Na segunda parte, analisa a estrutura familiar homossexual nos dois contextos. Por fim, compara o enquadramento jurídico de Portugal e da China nesta matéria. Ainda que se trate de uma análise comparativa, dá-se alguma ênfase ao contexto chinês, por ser desconhecido e tão distinto da realidade que se vive em Portugal.

Homosexuality is an omnipresent phenomenon throughout history. However, there are differences in the development of the homosexual culture in the various societies, namely in the Chinese and Western, which includes the Portuguese. This dissertation explores the most significant similarities and differences between the life and circumstances of homosexuals in the two nations, focusing on their historical, cultural and legal dimensions. Different cultural and civilizational contexts have resulted in a very different development and inclusion of homosexuality in these countries. This paper is divided into three parts. First, it compares the history and development of homosexuality in Portugal and China. In the second part, it analyzes the homosexual family structure in the two contexts. Finally, it compares the legal framework of Portugal and China in this matter. Although it is a comparative analysis, some emphasis is given to the Chinese context, because it is unknown and so different from the reality that one lives in Portugal.

同性恋现象由来已久，同性恋文化在中西方（包括葡萄牙在内）社会的发展 具有共同点也存在着差异。本文探讨了中西方不同文化下（特别是当今社会）的 同性恋现象的显著共同点以及明显差异，并从历史、文化、法律等方面探究其共 同性与差异性。 本文共分为三大部分。第一部分对葡萄牙和中国同性恋现象发展历史进行研 究和比较。第二部分主要探讨了葡萄牙和中国同性恋的不同的家庭结构。第三部 分对葡萄牙和中国同性恋立法情况进行比较研究。由于中国在同性恋问题方面发 展缓慢，与葡萄牙在现实环境中存在差异，本文将在某些部分侧重研究中国同性 恋的情况。
