Avaliação da formação: o impacto da formação e-learning no desempenho profissional dos formandos

Abstract

A temática deste relatório de investigação/intervenção enquadra-se na análise da formação desenvolvida numa empresa de formação, utilizando como modalidade o e-learning. Por um lado pretende-se compreender a crescente procura por esse tipo de oferta formativa e por outro, o impacto/efeitos da mesma no percurso profissional dos formandos. Assim sendo, pretendeu-se compreender e analisar a transferência dos conhecimentos e competências adquiridas nas ações de formação realizadas a distância pelos formandos e a aplicação dos mesmos no contexto de trabalho. Deste modo é possível verificar uma ligação tripartida e vincada entre as razões da escolha do curso de formação e da respetiva modalidade, o contributo dos conhecimentos abordados na formação e por fim, a transferência de conhecimentos para o local e para as situações de trabalho, aspetos influenciadores e impulsionadores do sucesso da mesma. Para a realização desta investigação foram implementadas metodologias de carácter qualitativo e quantitativo, onde destacamos a realização de um inquérito por questionário realizado online construído com recurso à escala de Likert. No que diz respeito ao processo de formação, o balanço foi positivo, os formandos mostraram-se satisfeitos com as ações de formação realizadas a distância e com a plataforma, demonstrando algumas mudanças e conteúdos que conseguiram transferir para o contexto de trabalho. Contudo, existem algumas questões em certos pontos da formação que necessitam de ser melhoradas, de modo a que este tipo de formação aumente a sua qualidade e, por conseguinte, a quantidade de formandos nas sessões.

The subject of this evaluation/research report fits in the training analysis in a training company, using the e-learning modality. In one hand it is desired to understand the growing demand for this type of training offer and, on the other hand, the impact and the effects in the professional career of the trainees. For this, and since the purpose of this research concerns on the impact evaluation, it’s important to highlight the growing emergency of the research towards the challenges that arise in the society and his individuals. Therefore it was intended to figure out and analyze the knowledge transfer and the skills acquired in the training actions carried out at distance by the trainees and their application in the work context. So, it’s possible to verify an accentuated triple connection between the reasons for choosing the training course and its modality, the contribution of the knowledge covered in the training and, finally, the knowledge transfer to work situations, influential aspects and drivers of its success. For the accomplishment of this investigation qualitative and quantitative methodologies were implemented, where we emphasize the accomplishment of an online questionnaire survey constructed using Likert scale. When it comes to training process the balance was positive, the trainees were satisfied with the training actions taken at a distance and with the platform, demonstrating some changes and contents that they were able to transfer to the work context. However, there are some issues in certain areas of training that need to be improved in order for this type of training to increase their quality and therefore the number of trainees in the sessions.
