A importância da Música de Conjunto no desenvolvimento instrumental dos alunos do 2º ciclo

Abstract

O presente relatório visa refletir todo o trabalho desenvolvido ao longo do estágio profissional integrante ao Mestrado em Ensino de Música do Instituto de Educação da Universidade do Minho no ano letivo de 2018/2019. Neste relatório de estágio o tema principal e no qual todo o estágio e investigação abrangeu foi, a importância da música de conjunto no desenvolvimento instrumental dos alunos do 2º ciclo. Na primeira fase, procurou-se fazer um levantamento de dados tendo em conta as observações efetuadas durante as aulas de conjunto ( Música de Câmara e Orquestra) lecionadas pelo Professor Cooperante, Pedro Fernandes, e as aulas de instrumento (Saxofone) lecionadas pela Professora Cooperante, Tine Van Der Geest, tendo em vista o desenvolvimento reflexivo sobre a prática educativa, a reflexão sobre metodologias no âmbito do crescimento enquanto professor e o desenvolvimento da capacidade de autoavaliação, bem como a capacidade de autocrítica. Para além destas reflexões, durante este processo de observação, e posteriormente, durante a lecionação em cada grupo de recrutamento, pretendeu-se perceber a importância da música de conjunto no plano curricular, entender a sua influência no desenvolvimento social e pessoal, identificando os benefícios para a aprendizagem Instrumental e determinando de que forma tem implicações motivacionais para a prática do instrumento. Numa segunda fase, realizou-se um questionário aos alunos do 2º e 3º ciclo que frequentam a disciplina de Música de Conjunto (Orquestra), e um questionário a professores que lecionam a disciplina de orquestra na Academia de Música de Fernandes Fão, bem como a docentes que lecionam a mesma noutras instituições. Este projeto de intervenção tem como objetivos gerais, perceber a importância da música de conjunto no plano curricular, entender a sua influência no desenvolvimento social e pessoal, identificar os benefícios para a aprendizagem instrumental e determinar a motivação para a prática do instrumento.

This report aims to reflect all the work developed during the professional internship that is part of the Master's Degree in Music Teaching at the Education Institute of the University of Minho in the academic year 2018/2019. In this internship report the main theme and in which all the internship and research covered was, the importance of ensemble music in the instrumental development of 2nd cycle students. In the first phase, an attempt was made to survey data taking into account the observations made during the group lessons (Chamber Music and Orchestra) taught by, Professor Pedro Fernandes, and the instrument (Saxophone) taught by Professor Tine Van Der Geest, with a view to reflective development on educational practice, reflection on methodologies in the context of growth as a teacher and the development of the capacity for self-assessment, as well as the capacity for self-criticism. In addition to these reflections, during this observation process, and later, during the teaching in each recruitment group, it was intended to understand the importance of ensemble music in the curriculum, to understand its influence on social and personal development, identifying the benefits for Instrumental learning and determining how it has motivational implications for the practice of the instrument. In a second phase, a questionnaire was applied to students in the 2nd and 3rd cycle who attend the subject of Ensemble Music (Orchestra), and a questionnaire to teachers who teach the subject of orchestra at the Music Academy of Fernandes Fão, as well as the teachers who teach the same in other institutions. This intervention project has as general objectives, to understand the importance of ensemble music in the curricular plan, to understand its influence on social and personal development, to identify the benefits for instrumental learning and to determine the motivation to practice the instrument.
