This study analyzed, with a retrospective look at the present, the technologies and power relations that transform the Self. It sought to delve into the understanding of natural restrictions and how they were transformed into interdictions to natural liberties from the hordes, regulating behavior, and with the end of matriarchy, the emergence of private property, patriarchy, and cities, how they cease to be simple restrictions or loose interdictory mechanisms to rise as technologies of power, implying social interdictions and social filters that bring with them counterfactual or ideological devices and mechanisms of control and disciplining associated with social counterparts. This paper analyzes how these mechanisms and devices were developed, which make possible the relations of power and obedience, conforming and modifying the really existing people, social groups and their actions, transforming them into entities, with formal existences coupled or not to the instances of power and society. The intention is to unveil how these devices and mechanisms, the social filters and the interdictions, moral and legal, act both in general and in specific ways, thus opening another field of study on how power relations could be established, that is, as mechanisms that compel people to obey. As a study of power relations, it was chosen the research method coined by Michel Foucault, in The Government of the Living (2009), the Anarchaeology. The path analyzed points out on the one hand the maintenance of social control in the universe of social, economic and power technologies, and on the other hand, the emergence of diffuse resistance, with the possibility of breaking this social control in the technological territory of communications, leading to a virtual state of nature in opposition to social structures and their prevailing forms of organization.
