Resumo(s)Considering 'liminality' as a descriptive concept for the position of the exiled/migrant writer, the one in-between two cultures whose writing translates the world across different references, I address four case studies, namely, Mozambican/ Portuguese poet Ana Mafalda Leite, the Cape Verdean writer Joaquim Arena, Angolan Luandino Vieira and his book of 'Guerrilheiro' memories and the Angolan poet Ana Paula Tavares. The four considered figures think and create at the intersection of the experience of living in Portugal in dialogue and their respective African worlds.
