Implementação e acreditação da norma ISO/IEC 17025:2017 num laboratório industrial funcional

Abstract

Os Sistemas de Gestão de Qualidade fornecem uma ferramenta útil às organizações para identificar, organizar e controlar os seus processos. As organizações, ao implementarem um SGQ, pretendem atingir objetivos relacionados com a qualidade dos seus serviços e produtos e, consequentemente, manter um nível elevado de satisfação dos clientes. A dissertação aqui apresentada, foi desenvolvida em contexto industrial na empresa Stokvis Celix Portugal, concretamente, na área da qualidade do Laboratório de ensaios industriais pertencente à organização, com o objetivo de estudar e implementar a norma ISO/IEC 17025 de acreditação de laboratórios industriais. O laboratório da Stokvis Celix Portugal apresenta aptidão e metodologia de excelência organizacional e industrial, capaz de se tornar uma entidade independente na realização de ensaios laboratoriais relacionados com a sua atividade industrial. Inicialmente foi estudada e elaborada uma análise aprofundada dos pontos essenciais que requeriam melhoria, através de ferramentas da qualidade, para a acreditação do laboratório. Desta forma, durante o período de estágio realizou-se uma procura/pesquisa das normas desatualizadas relacionadas com a atividade do laboratório para uma futura utilização de normas atualizadas. Procedeu-se à alteração e melhoria dos procedimentos e instruções de trabalho dos ensaios laboratoriais que estavam incompletos e criaram-se os inexistentes. Avaliou-se o layout do laboratório e foram apresentadas ações de melhoria e os resultados correspondentes dessas mesmas ações. Para além disso, foram efetuadas análises SWOT e SPACE para salientar a estratégia que o laboratório deve tomar em relação à acreditação. Concluiu-se a atividade de estágio com a determinação do custo de ensaios para, posteriormente, ser usado na prestação de serviços a entidades externas à Stokvis Celix Portugal. Com o estudo realizado, a empresa foi incentivada a implementar as oportunidades de melhoria citadas, contribuindo para a futura acreditação do laboratório da Stokvis Celix Portugal.

Quality Management Systems provide a useful tool for organizations to identify, organize and control their processes. Organizations, when implementing a QMS, intend to achieve objectives related to the quality of their services and products and, consequently, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. The dissertation presented here was developed in an industrial context at the company Stokvis Celix Portugal, specifically, in the quality area of the Laboratory of Industrial Tests belonging to the company, with the objective of studying and implementing the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for the accreditation of laboratories industrial. Stokvis Celix Portugal's laboratory has an aptitude and methodology of organizational and industrial excellence, capable of becoming an independent entity in carrying out laboratory tests related to its industrial activity. Initially, an in-depth analysis of the essential points that required improvement was studied and elaborated, through quality tools, for the accreditation of the laboratory. In this way, during the internship period, search/research was carried out for outdated standards related to the laboratory activity for future use of updated standards. The procedures and work instructions for laboratory tests that were incomplete were altered and improved, and those that did not exist were created. The layout of the laboratory was evaluated, and improvement actions and the corresponding results of these same actions were presented. In addition, SWOT and SPACE analyzes were carried out to emphasize the strategy that the laboratory should take in relation to accreditation. The internship activity was concluded with the determination of the cost of tests, to later be used in the provision of services to entities external to Stokvis Celix Portugal. With the study carried out, the company was encouraged to implement the mentioned improvement opportunities, contributing to the future accreditation of the Stokvis Celix Portugal laboratory.
