dc.description.abstract	This article addresses the transformation of the vampire figure from a repulsive threatening creature into a desired lover figure for teenage audiences in recent films and TV series. Consequently, contemporary postmodern reinterpretations of Dracula are radically different from previous Victorian ones, granting legitimacy to the desire for eternal life and eternal youth, disregarding the unethical, sinful stigma associated to that character. Since this change meets the expectations of popular culture, it reflects contemporary sensitivity and postmodern playful, rebellious relativism.	por
