Gestão de segurança de informação no departamento logístico de uma empresa do setor industrial de componentes para automóveis

Abstract

O presente projeto de dissertação foi realizado no âmbito da conclusão do Mestrado em Engenharia e Gestão Industrial. O estudo foi desenvolvido na secção de proteção de dados da Bosch Car Multimedia, SA, tendo como objetivo a análise e realização de propostas de melhoria ao funcionamento do Sistema de Gestão de Segurança de Informação em vigor. A concretização destes objetivos foi possível através da aplicação da metodologia de investigação “Investigação-Ação”, que se iniciou com o diagnóstico do estado atual, seguindo-se uma investigação minuciosa sobre os controlos efetuados. Após estudado o funcionamento do Sistema em utilização, foi realizado um estudo sobre a debilidade mais preponderante identificada, isto é a ação humana descuidada. Tendo então definido o problema a solucionar, foi proposta a realização de ações de formação para os colaboradores do Departamento de Logística, bem como a adoção de ferramentas de gestão visual. Assim, ambiciona-se a atingir um nível de awareness mais elevado, levando a uma redução no número de incidentes e nos prejuízos incorridos pela organização. Infelizmente, devido a constrições de tempo, não foi possível acompanhar a implementação das medidas propostas, tal como a sua avaliação na futura auditoria por parte da TISAX (Mecanismo de avaliação e intercâmbio do nível de conformidade da segurança da informação de empresas e organizações).

This dissertation project has been carried out within the scope of the master’s degree in engineering and industrial Management. The study was conducted in the Data Security Office (DSO) department at Bosch Car Multimedia, SA to analyse and implement proposals for improving the functioning of the Information Security Management System. These objectives were achieved by applying the "Action Investigation" methodology, which began with a diagnosis of the current state, followed by a thorough investigation of the controls in place. Having examined the operation of the system in use, a study was carried out into the most predominant identified weakness, namely careless human action. Having then defined the problem to be solved, it was proposed to carry out training courses for the employees of the Logistics Department, as well as the adoption of visual management tools. They aim to achieve a higher awareness level, which leads to a reduction in the number of incidents and the losses incurred by the organization. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, it was not possible to follow up the implementation of the proposed measures, as well as the evaluation of the measures in the future audit by TISAX (Mechanism for assessing and exchanging the compliance level of information security of companies and organisations).
