Articulações entre a Escola de Enfermagem e o Hospital de São Marcos de Braga

Abstract

O artigo agora apresentado começa por uma construção sócio-histórica de algumas características e especificidades que englobam o nosso objecto de estudo - a articulação inrterorganizacional Escola e Hospital de São Marcos. A atracção deste momento empírico, principalmente para o investigador, é que ele parte de uma triangulação de dados sobre os discursos e as práticas de supervisão de estágios, muito próxima dos actores, e estrutura-se ao longo de um percurso investigativo considerável. Uma forma de compreendermos os fenómenos é examinarmos as fontes, a partir de um conjunto estruturado de relações entre as organizações que fazem parte do estudo, os processos sociais onde podem ser localizadas as decisões impulsionadoras de uma dada medida ou conjunto de medidas. Numa segunda parte do artigo, tendo em conta a resenha histórica do ensino da Enfermagem e as orientações para os estágios nas duas organizações em estudo, acrescentámos ainda à análise os Planos de Estudo e Regulamentos de Curso e os dossiers de estágios de uma Escola Superior de Enfermagem, referentes a seis décadas (1940-2006), e ainda outras informações complementares, obtidas junto das pessoas que pertenceram ao Conselho Directivo e ao Conselho Científico da Escola, durante este período. Partindo deste material, pretendeu-se, no essencial, apresentar uma evolução de algumas características relativas à supervisão de estágios, confrontando-as com algumas das tipologias disponíveis na literatura especializada.

This article begins by presenting socio-historical features and specificities which include our object of study - inter-organizational articulation School of Nursing and São Marcos Hospital. The attraction of this empirical moment, especially for the researcher, is the triangulation of data on the discourses and practices of clinical supervision, very close to the actors, and structured along a considerable investigative course. One way to understand the phenomena is to examine the sources from a structured set of relationships between the organizations that are part of the study and find the social processes of the decision dynamic of a given procedure or set of procedures. In the second part of the article, given the nursing education history and clinical practice supervision guidelines in both organizations under study, we added to the review the Study Plan and Course Regulations and the files of clinical practice supervision of a Nursing School, referred to six decades (1940-2006), plus other information, obtained from the people who belonged to the Board and the Scientific Council, during this period. From this material, it was intended to present the development of some characteristics related to the clinical practice supervision and confronting them with some of the forms available in the specialized literature.
