The use of medical thermal imaging in obstetrics

Abstract

Digital thermography has been employed in the medical field for several years. However, its use has been clearly focused on breast cancer diagnosis, while other applications having been much less explored. The aim of this prospective study was to assess the feasibility of employing thermal imaging in obstetrics, namely as an additional diagnosis tool available for physicians to use synergically with other techniques in their standard practice.
