Moda e contracultura: a relação entre a moda e os processos de identificação e diferenciação no funk carioca

Abstract

A moda tem sido assunto recorrente nas mais diversas áreas do conhecimento Este projeto propõe lançar um olhar sobre a moda e como esta interage com a contracultura. Entendendo através das representações sociais dos movimentos de tribos urbanas, mas especificamente funk carioca. Para se entender bem a relação dos grupos na cultura de rua é interessante que anteriormente se entenda como o indivíduo se ordena a fim de formar grupos de individualização. Assim, será feita uma pesquisa de campo na cidade do Rio de Janeiro durante seis meses do ano de 2013, para pontuar como a moda se manifesta dentro dos processos de individualização e identificação dos indivíduos dentro das subculturas. Como fonte metodológica será feita revisão bibliográfica de autores tais como: Simmel, Tarde, Maffesoli, Vianna, Hebdige, entre outros, a fim de fundamentar o estudo e compreender como estes autores relacionam a moda com as manifestações de tribos urbanas relacionadas a movimentos de contracultura. O trabalho será divido em quatro partes. A primeira parte procurará apresentar como a moda interfere nos processos de individualização e identificação do indivíduo. A segunda parte analisará a estrutura e funcionamento dos movimentos de contracultura e a formação de tribos urbanas. A terceira parte apresentará de maneira breve a história do funk, e após a pesquisa de campo realizada na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, visando analisar diversas referências comportamentais, sociais e estéticas. Por fim, será realizada uma análise dos resultados e conteúdos estudados, a fim de perceber o porquê das composições destas tribos urbanas e como estas se relacionam com a moda. Analisando o valor do poder simbólico em culturas híbridas. Discutir este tema é entrar em um local muito povoado, porém nesse ponto de vista pouco explorado, com o auxílio da pesquisa de campo, será possível em suma compreender o poder da moda nas culturas tribais e de suas manifestações.

Fashion has been a recurring topic in several areas of knowledge. This project proposes to have a look at fashion and how it interacts with the subculture. Understanding through social representations of urban tribes’s movements, specifically funk carioca. To understand the relationship of the groups in the street culture, its necessary a previous understanding how an individual self regulates himself in order to form groups of individualization. For this reason, a field survey was made for six months at the last year in Rio de Janeiro city. The purpose was to score how fashion manifests itself within the processes of individual’s identification and individualization within subcultures. The methodological source is represented by a literature review of authors such as Simmel, Tarde , Maffesoli, Vianna, Hebdige, among others in order to justify the study. As well as understanding at the same time, how these authors relate fashion with manifestations of urban tribes related to counterculture movements. Subsequently, the work was divided into four parts. The first part will consider how fashion interferes with the processes of the individual’s individualization and identification. The second part will examine the structure and functioning of the subculture movement and the formation of urban tribe’s .The third part will present briefly the history of funk (after the field research conducted in the Rio de Janeiro), aiming to analyze several behavioral, social and aesthetic references. Finally, an analysis of the results and content studied will be performed in order to understand the purpose of these urban tribe’s compositions and how they connect with fashion. Analyzing through it the value of symbolic power in hybrid crops. To conclude, this particular theme can lead us through a multiple path. However, this particular point of view can provide to the community (with the aid of field research), a better acknowledgment about the power of fashion in tribal cultures and their manifestations.
