Mediação de conflitos em contexto escolar

Abstract

Este estudo aborda a temática da Mediação Educacional no âmbito da Mediação de Conflitos em Contexto Escolar. Este tema tem uma estreita relação com o processo de aprendizagem cognitiva em que o seu campo de atuação contribui claramente para o desenvolvimento da sociedade e emancipação dos indivíduos. Com o intuito de investigar a melhor forma de tranformar a mediação escolar num instrumento para a alteração dos conflitos, enquadrando-a na formação pessoal, no domínio da resolução de problemas e na educação para os valores, tentámos motivar os intervenientes para a vertente transdisciplinar da gestão e mediação dos conflitos, contatando de perto com a comunidade educativa da Instituição onde desenvolvemos este estudo, numa Escola Básica do 2º e 3º ciclos, Para atingir os objetivos de investigação/ação a que nos propusemos, utilizamos a metodologia de investigação pela análise de documentos existentes na instituição, sendo-nos facultados pela nossa acompanhante e os restantes pesquisados na biblioteca da escola. Aplicamos também questionários, entrevistas informais e observação direta e indireta. A aplicação dos inquéritos teve como intuito a busca de informações ao nível das práticas e desempenho dos agentes envolvidos, assim como a recolha das suas opiniões em relação aos reais conflitos gerados dentro da escola. Os resultados da análise dos inquéritos exploratórios, juntamente com os dados recolhidos nas entrevistas, permitiram-nos a construção de um dispositivo de formação destinado aos assistentes operacionais, assistentes técnicos e encarregados de educação, Baseando-nos nas entrevistas informais e na observação, procedemos também à intervenção direta em algumas turmas, através das Assembleias de Turma, com o propósito de promover a coesão da turma através da mediação de conflitos e prevenir alguns desentendimentos eminentes. Criámos também um grupo de Mediadores Escolares com o objetivo de promover a formação de líderes para apoiar as atividades escolares, estabelecendo canais privilegiados de comunicação e de relação.

The present study deals with the theme of Educational Mediation under the Mediation of conflicts in the school context. This issue carries a close relationship with the cognitive learning process in which his field of action contributes significantly to the development of society and empowerment of individuals. With intention to investigate the best way of transforming the school mediation into an instrument for the alteration of the conflicts, fitting in the personal formation, the domain of the resolution of problems and the education for the values, we tried to motivate intervening flowing it to transdisciplinar of the management and mediation of the conflicts. In order to investigate and close contact with the institution's educational community where we develop this study, Basic School, 2nd and 3rd, have begun the research methodology for examining existing documentary in this institution, being provided by our accompany and the rest searched in the school library. We have also an application of questionnaire surveys, informal interviews and direct observation and indirect ways. The application of investigations had as purpose the informationseeking practices and performance of those involved, as well as the collection of their opinions in relation to the real conflicts generated within the school. The results of the analysis of exploratory surveys, along with data collected in interviews, have enabled us to build a training device for operating assistants, technical assistants and careers. Based on informal interviews and observation, we also direct intervention in some classes through Class meetings, with the purpose to promote class cohesion through mediation of conflicts and prevent some eminent misunderstandings. We also have a group of School Mediators with the objective of promoting the formation of leaders to support school activities, establishing privileged channels of communication and relationship.
