Aprender a cuidar e a respeitar do meio ambiente em contexto de educação pré-escolar

Abstract

O presente relatório exibe um projeto de intervenção pedagógica sob o título “Aprender a Cuidar e a respeitar do meio ambiente em contexto de Educação Pré-Escolar”, desenvolvido no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Estágio do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar, do Instituto de Educação da Universidade do Minho. O projeto de intervenção pedagógica teve como base questões das crianças sobre a poupança de água e a separação do lixo e visou sensibilizar as crianças para a preservação do meio ambiente, promover comportamentos e hábitos pró-ambientais, criar oportunidades de aprendizagem ativa e favorecer o desenvolvimento de aprendizagens integradas. No decorrer do projeto foram realizadas atividades sustentadas na escuta dos interesses das crianças, relacionadas com a poupança de água, a reciclagem, a reutilização de materiais, que envolveram o grupo numa diversidade de experiências de aprendizagem. A intervenção desenvolvida promoveu a construção de conhecimentos sobre o mundo social e natural envolvente, a consciência ambiental das crianças e atitudes de respeito, cuidado e responsabilidade pela preservação do meio ambiente.

This report presents a project of pedagogic intervention under the title “Learning to Care and Respect the environment in the scope of the Preschool Education”, developed in the ambit of the Curricular Unit, Masters Internship in Preschool Education, from the Education Institute from Minho University. The project of pedagogic intervention has as basis, the questions that came from the children about water saving and trash separating, aiming to sensitize them for the preservation of the environment, promote pro-environmental behaviors and habits, create opportunities for active learning and favor the development of a wholesome education. Throughout the project there were many activities based from hearing the children interest, related to water saving, recycling, material reuse which involved the group in a diversity of learning experiences. The pedagogic intervention promoted the building of knowledge about the social and natural world that surround us, the environmental awareness of the children and respect attitudes, care and responsibility for the preservation of the environment.
