e a harmonia.
The theme of this internship report focused on the implementation of the Solkattu concept in transverse flute classes, having emerged within the professional practice of the Master of Music Education at the University of Minho. The pedagogical intervention project was implemented with four students from the second and third cycles of basic education at the Guimarães Conservatory. Starting from the axiom that music is an universal art, it is based on a vast complexity and diversity, and it can be said to be based on fundamental elements such as melody, rhythm and harmony. Given all its complexity, there is a problem of decoding the musical rhythm, and music students reveal relegating it to the background. Thus, the problem of the present project of pedagogical intervention focused on the application of the Solkattu concept in order to foster the importance of rhythm in music and, consequently, the relevance and articulation of the three fundamental elements mentioned above, without neglecting any of them. It was also pertinent to approach reading at first sight, in general, to understand what the students focus on when exposed to it. Through the surveys conducted by the quiz, it was concluded that the implementation of the Solkattu concept resulted in improvements in rhythmic reading and also in the increase of the highest value of the three essential elements of music. Overall, about the reading at first sight, was observed, from the initial exercise to the final, a positive, although modest change, from the students' focus. |
