Criação de materiais didáticos para o ensino do Português língua não materna, língua segunda e língua estrangeira em Angola: do papel ao digital

Abstract

O processo de ensino-aprendizagem (E-A) de uma língua estrangeira é uma tarefa distinta do de uma língua materna. Por isso, muitos pesquisadores têm procurado mecanismos mais eficazes para levar a bom termo tal processo, investindo cada vez mais na formação de professores, bem como na criação de materiais didáticos que facilitem a aprendizagem de línguas. Tendo em conta este pressuposto, o escopo desta pesquisa consiste na criação de materiais didáticos físicos e digitais para o ensino de PLNM/L2/LE, baseando-se na perspetiva acional/coacional de Puren (2014) e na abordagem da multimodalidade ou multimodal desenvolvida por Kress (2001). Os materiais didáticos desenvolvidos nesta pesquisa referem-se aos níveis A1/A2 e B1/B2 e foram criados a partir de dois contos de tradição oral angolanos. Esses materiais aparecem em suporte papel e digital, e estão disponíveis numa plataforma web designada Kuzwela contos. O uso de contos tradicionais angolanos justifica-se pela necessidade de deixar evidente a diversidade linguística e cultural no âmbito Lusófono e pela necessidade de mostrar que é possível elaborar materiais didáticos a partir de contos da tradição oral. Depois de elaborados, e para comprovar a sua eficácia, os materiais foram aplicados a 30 aprendentes de PLNM, dos níveis A1/A2 e B1/B2 do Centro de Línguas da Universidade do Minho, a fim de se avaliar o grau de complexidade e acessibilidade das atividades dispostas. Os resultados demonstraram as potencialidades dos materiais desenvolvidos, assim como o interesse que os contos despertam nos aprendentes. Tendo em conta a necessidade de obter um retorno dos aprendentes, foi aplicado um questionário que serviu de meio para uma avaliação mais completa da proposta de materiais elaborados e, através das respostas, foi possível atestar que a maior parte dos aprendentes acha vantajoso o uso de materiais didáticos nos dois suportes (papel e digital), por serem um meio dinamizador do processo de E-A de LE e pelo facto de um servir de alternativa ao outro. De acordo com estes resultados, acredita-se que o presente estudo poderá ajudar o desenvolvimento de uma nova perspetiva para o ensino do PLNM/L2/LE.

The teaching-learning (TL) process of a foreign language is a different task from that of a mother tongue. For this reason, many researchers have been looking for more effective mechanisms to bring this process to a successful conclusion, investing more and more in teacher training, as well as in the creation of didactic materials that facilitate language learning. Bearing in mind this assumption, the scope of this research consists of the creation of physical and digital teaching materials for the teaching of Portuguese non-mother tongue, second language and foreign language (PNMT/SL/FL) based on Puren's (2014) action/coactional perspective and on the multimodal or multimodal approach developed by Kress (2001). The teaching materials developed in this research refer to levels A1/A2 and B1/B2 and were created from two tales of Angolan oral tradition. These materials appear on paper and digital and are available on a web platform called Kuzwela contos. The use of traditional Angolan tales is justified by the need to make evident the linguistic and cultural diversity in the Lusophone sphere and by the need to show that it is possible to elaborate didactic materials from tales of the oral tradition. After being elaborated, and to prove its effectiveness, the materials were applied to 30 PNMT learners, at levels A1/A2 and B1/B2 at the Language Center of the University of Minho, in order to assess the degree of complexity and accessibility of the activities arranged. The results demonstrated the potential of the developed materials, as well as the interest that the stories arouse in the learners. Bearing in mind the need to obtain feedback from the learners, a questionnaire was applied that served as a means for a more complete assessment of the proposal of elaborated materials and, through the answers, it was possible to attest that most of the learners find the use of teaching materials on both supports (paper and digital), as they are a means of dynamizing the TL the FL process and the fact that one serves as an alternative to the other. According to these results, it is believed that the present study may help the development of a new perspective for the teaching of PNMT/ SL/FL.
