Linha do tempo “Duques de Bragança: de 1377 a 1640.”: relatório de estágio

Abstract

Este Relatório de Estágio reporta o trabalho desenvolvido durante o Estágio curricular que fiz no Paço dos Duques de Bragança, em Guimarães. Este Estágio foi previamente combinado entre a orientadora académica e a orientadora institucional. Assim, a orientadora institucional, Doutora Isabel Fernandes, atual Diretora do Paço dos Duques de Bragança, Guimarães, propôs como projeto para o meu trabalho, a desenvolver durante o Estágio, a minha colaboração num dos projetos que estavam a ser desenvolvidos no Paço, o da elaboração de tabelas cronológicas, designadas como “Linhas do Tempo”. Ficou decidido, com o meu completo acordo, que o meu trabalho de Estágio seria dedicado à elaboração de tabela cronológica sobre os duques de Bragança, desde o primeiro, D. Afonso, o responsável pela edificação deste Paço, nascido em 1377, e até à Restauração da Independência de Portugal, em 1640, altura a partir da qual o então duque de Bragança passa a ser rei de Portugal, o rei D. João IV. O meu trabalho teria por objetivo apresentar uma tabela cronológica com o título «LINHA DO TEMPO: Duques de Bragança. De 1377 a 1640». A “Linha do Tempo” que se apresenta neste Relatório de Estágio - e que consubstancia o trabalho que desenvolvi durante o Estágio - segue a estrutura e sugestões que me foram propostas pela Doutora Isabel Fernandes, integrando factos de carácter nacional e no estrangeiro, e tendo em conta a recolha de dados cronológicos relativos a datas de nascimento, casamento, morte, guerras e batalhas e acontecimentos considerados relevantes na época ou posteriormente. É o resultado desse trabalho que agora se apresenta.

This Internship Report reports the work developed during the curricular internship I did at Paço dos Duques de Bragança, Palace of the Dukes of Braganza, in Guimarães. This internship was previously agreed upon by the academic tutor and the institutional tutor. Thus, the institutional tutor, Doutora Isabel Fernandes, current Director of the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança, Guimarães, proposed as a project for my work to be developed during the Internship my collaboration in one of the projects that were being developed in the Palace, the elaboration of chronological tables, designated as "Timelines". It was decided, with my complete agreement, that my Internship work would be devoted to the elaboration of a chronological table on the Dukes of Bragança, from the first, D. Afonso, who was responsible for the building of this Palace, born in 1377, and until the Restoration of Portugal's Independence, in 1640, when the then Duke of Bragança became King of Portugal, King D. João IV. My work would aim to present a chronological table entitled “TIME LINE: Dukes of Bragança. From 1377 to 1640 “. The “Timeline” presented in this Internship Report - which substantiates the work I did during the Internship - follows the structure and suggestions proposed by Doutora Isabel Fernandes, incorporating facts of a national and foreign importance, and taking into account the collection of chronological data concerning dates of birth, marriage, death, wars and battles and events considered relevant at the time or thereafter. It is the result of this work that is now being presented.
