A construção de valores humanos com crianças: conceções e experiências de professores do 1º ciclo

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como principal objetivo conhecer as perceções de professores em relação à educação para os valores no 1º ciclo: as suas visões de educação em valores humanos, dentro das suas formações e práticas pedagógicas, a importância que atribuem a esta dimensão da educação para as crianças, como são construídos os valores dentro das suas dinâmicas escolares, e o que m sido problematizado teoricamente sobre o assunto: relação escola família, os valores e a educação de crianças e a sua relação com o currículo no 1º Ciclo, bem como as suas impressões de (in)satisfação frente aos resultados obtidos, benefícios e desafios. Neste estudo de cariz qualitativo, com base no método (auto)biográfico, a técnica escolhida para a coleta de dados foi a narrativa (auto)biográfica à luz do modelo proposto por Schütze (cit in Appel, 2005). Foram ouvidas, transcritas e analisadas narrativas (auto)biográficas de duas docentes na cidade de Braga, em Portugal, de uma escola do 1.º Ciclo, de cariz público e uma terceira docente, do Brasil, de uma escola também da rede pública, do Ensino Fundamental I (equivalente ao 1.º Ciclo). Através deste trabalho dissertativo buscar-se-á caraterizar e analisar estas opiniões, numa relação com a literatura estudada, e os objetivos propostos para a investigação. Os resultados revelam que as narrativas (auto)biográficas são muito úteis como fonte de investigação e método de pesquisa, e que através delas o trabalho em valores pôde ser explicitado com os seus ganhos e desafios. Acreditase que este estudo é um contributo positivo para reflexões posteriores e maiores aprofundamentos acerca deste tema tão importante para a educação das crianças.

The main objective of this study is to know the perceptions of teachers in relation to education for values in the 1st cycle: their visions of education in human values, within their training and pedagogical practices, the importance they attach to this dimension of education for children, how values are constructed within their school dynamics, and what has been theoretically problematized on the subject: school-family relationship, values and children's education and their relationship with the curriculum in the 1st Cycle and their impressions of (dis)satisfaction with the results obtained, benefits and challenges. In this qualitative study, based on the (auto)biographical method, the technique chosen for data collection was the (auto)biographical narrative in the light of the model proposed by Schütze (cit. in Appel). The (auto) biographical narratives of two teachers in the city of Braga, in Portugal, from a public school in the 1 st Cycle, and a third teacher, from Brazil, from a public school, were heard, transcribed and analyzed. Elementary School I (equivalent to 1st Cycle). Through this dissertation work, we will seek to characterize and analyze these opinions, in relation to the studied literature, and the proposed objectives for the investigation. The results reveal that (auto)biographical narratives are very useful as a source of investigation and research method, and that through them the work on values could be explained with its gains and challenges. It is believed that this study is a positive contribution to further reflections and further insights into this very important topic for children’s education.
