A importância da mudança de registo no clarinete: incidência em alunos do ensino básico

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio relata o decorrer de uma investigação-ação realizada no Conservatório Bomfim, em Braga, no ano letivo 2020/2021, que incidiu sobre uma vertente mais técnica do clarinete: a mudança de registo. De acordo com a literatura, a mudança de registo revelou-se um tema bastante vago e pouco explorado, pelo que foi a minha motivação para a realização deste projeto. Desta forma, teve que se aliar a este, outros aspetos relacionados igualmente fundamentais, nomeadamente a dedilhação, pressão do ar, respiração e embocadura. A intervenção pedagógica foi realizada no grupo de recrutamento de M04 (clarinete) a um aluno de cada nível de ensino básico (1º, 2º e 3º ciclo) com o objetivo de compreender como é encarada a mudança de registo por cada um e qual o seu conhecimento em relação ao tema. De notar que cada aluno foi escolhido na fase de observação porque demonstrava dificuldades com o tema e com algum outro aspeto relacionado e mencionado anteriormente. Para isso, foram selecionados alguns exercícios criando assim um compêndio de auxílio aos alunos com todos aspetos relacionados com a mudança de registo que inclui exercícios práticos e técnicos que ajudaram na definição das estratégias pedagógicas. Para uma melhor aferição dos resultados, foram recolhidos dados através de um inquérito a professores, a alunos e aos alunos participantes no estágio.

This internship report relates the course of an action-investigation carried out at the Bomfim Conservatory, in Braga, in the academic year of 2020/2021, which focused on a more technical aspect of the clarinet: the change of register. According to the literature, the change of register turned out to be a rather vague topic and little explored, so it motivated me even more for the realization of this project. This way, it had to be combined with other equally fundamental related aspects, namely fingering, air pressure, breathing and embouchure. The pedagogical intervention was carried out in the group of recruitment of M04 (clarinet) to a student of each level of primary school (1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle) in order to understand how the registration change was faced by each one and what was their knowledge about this subject. Note that each student was chosen in the observation phase because they showed difficulties with the topic and/or one of the other related aspects and mentioned above. To achieve this, some exercises were selected, creating a compendium to help students with all aspects related to the change of register includes practical and technical exercises that helped in defining the pedagogical strategies. For a better measurement of results, data were collected through a survey for teachers, students and students participating in the internship.
