O contributo dos estilos musicais na creche e no jardim de infância - conhecer o país e o mundo através da música

Abstract

O presente relatório intitulado O Contributo dos Estilos Musicais na Creche e no Jardim de Infância – Conhecer o país e o mundo através da música foi desenvolvido no âmbito da Unidade Curricular , Estágio – Intervenção Pedagógica I e II e integra o ciclo de estudos do Mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar do Instituto de Educação da Universidade do Minho. O tema deste trabalho, resulta da pertinência da adoção de estilos musicais nos contextos pedagógicos de Creche, através de músicas tradicionais portuguesas e no Jardim de Infância mediante a exploração de quatro tipologias de música: a clássica, o rock, o samba e o jazz. Com a implementação dos projetos, os objetivos definidos nos dois contextos pedagógicos, foram globalmente atingidos: alargar as tipologias musicais pré-existentes, dinamizar atividades lúdicas relativas aos estilos de música adotados em cada contexto, articulando-os com as diferentes áreas do saber. Refira-se, a título e exemplo, a exploração do corpo, da voz, das propriedades dos sons, dos instrumentos musicais, e a área do Conhecimento do Mundo. Sublinhe-se, ainda, a implementação da área da música, a sensibilização das crianças e das suas famílias para a importância da sustentabilidade ambiental e a construção de atividades significativas e funcionais nos diferentes contextos que as crianças frequentam/habitam. Na dimensão investigativa utilizou-se vários instrumentos de recolha de dados, nomeadamente a observação, as notas de campo, os registos fotográficos de vídeo/áudio, os questionários e as entrevistas informais, constituindo-se como basilares na metodologia de investigação-ação. No decorrer dos projetos, verificou-se nos dois grupos de crianças uma evolução comportamental, atitudinal e sensorial, que despoletaram as suas competências expressivas e criativas em contexto musical. Neste decurso identificou-se uma evolução na capacidade de identificação, memorização e subsequente verbalização de músicas e instrumentos musicais relativos aos estilos musicais. Também se observou uma maior consciencialização de práticas sustentáveis em prol da preservação e conservação do meio ambiente. Com a conclusão dos projetos, os grupos construíram, articularam e partilharam experiências e adquiriram novos conhecimentos no âmbito dos estilos musicais.

The present report entitled The Contribution of Musical Styles in Creche and Kindergarten - To know the country and the world through music was developed in the scope of the Curricular Unit, Internship - Pedagogical Intervention I and II, and is part of the study cycle of the Master's Degree in Preschool Education of the Institute of Education of the University of Minho. The theme of this work results from the pertinence of the adoption of musical styles in the pedagogical contexts of Creche, through Portuguese traditional music, and in Kindergarten through the exploration of four types of music: classical, rock, samba and jazz. With the implementation of the projects, the objectives defined in the two pedagogical contexts were globally reached: to widen the pre-existing musical typologies, to dynamise ludic activities related to the music styles adopted in each context, articulating them with the different areas of knowledge. By way of example, we should mention the exploration of the body, the voice, the properties of sounds, musical instruments, and the area of World Knowledge. It should also be underlined the implementation of the music area, the awareness of children and their families on the importance of environmental sustainability and the construction of meaningful and functional activities in the different contexts that the children attend/inhabit. In the investigative dimension, various instruments of data collection were used, namely observation, field notes, video/audio photographic records, questionnaires and informal interviews, constituting the basis of the action research methodology. During the course of the projects, there was a behavioural, attitudinal and sensorial evolution in both groups of children, which triggered their expressive and creative competencies in a musical context. In this course, an evolution in the capacity to identify, memorise and subsequently verbalise songs and musical instruments relating to musical styles was identified. There was also a greater awareness of sustainable practices for the preservation and conservation of the environment. With the conclusion of the projects, the groups built, articulated and shared experiences and acquired new knowledge in the scope of the musical styles.
