dc.description.abstract | When we talk about a neighborhood, it is delimited beyond the invisible borders that a map or a plan can draw. When neighbors like the place where they live, they give value to the public space and care for it, in this way they weave together the dynamics of their own environment, which make their neighborhoods unique. This is the case of the neighborhoods studied in this thesis, La Soledad in Bogotá - Colombia, and Poblenou in Barcelona - Spain. These are neighborhoods where artists, creatives and many people are linked, either in their work or voluntarily, to the cultural sector. Given this premise, we talked to 36 neighbors, 18 in each neighborhood, about what it is like to live in their community, what they like about it, and what it was like to go through the confinements due to the pandemic. We also discuss if the use, consumption, or cultural production was useful during this period. This is done through semi structured interviews. | por |
