A expressão das crianças sobre o brincar: "Os meninos estão felizes porque estão a brincar"

Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio, no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar, apresenta a experiência da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada em Jardim de Infância com vinte e duas crianças dos três aos seis anos, tendo o propósito de expor o Projeto de Intervenção Pedagógica desenvolvido sobre o brincar e as brincadeiras. O tema surgiu da associação do brincar à felicidade que as crianças realizaram após a leitura da narrativa “As Crianças que não eram como Crianças” (Sanchez & Pacheco, s.d.), tanto através das suas falas, como das suas representações. Considerando o brincar uma das atividades mais sérias e essenciais da infância, de tal forma que é contemplada na Convenção sobre os Direitos da Criança, desenvolveu-se um Projeto que pretendia conhecer as brincadeiras das crianças, conhecer as brincadeiras e os brinquedos do passado, alargar as suas oportunidades de brincadeira, promover diversas formas de expressão, nomeadamente a linguagem oral e as representações gráficas. Tendo presente uma imagem de criança competente e com voz, objetivou-se escutar/documentar as falas das crianças, bem como investigar o que expressavam acerca do brincar e das brincadeiras. Desse modo, através das suas falas e representações, foi possível descobrir o estabelecimento de relações entre o brincar e o prazer, a exploração, o faz de conta, a imaginação, os brinquedos construídos com materiais reciclados e objetos do quotidiano como brinquedos, os museus de brinquedos, os livros e a colaboração. A concretização da Intervenção só foi possível através do ciclo sucessivo e interativo aludido nas Orientações Curriculares para a Educação Pré-Escolar (OCEPE) de observação–documentação–reflexão– planificação–ação–avaliação e da investigação-ação, que permitiram conhecer e dar a conhecer a “voz” destas crianças e considerá-la no desenho da Intervenção.

This Internship Report, as part of the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education, presents the experience of the Supervised Teaching Practice in Kindergarten with twenty-two children aged three to six years old, with the purpose of showing the Project developed on plays and games. The theme emerged from the association, often made, between playing and happiness that children made after reading the narrative "The Children who were not like Children", both through their speeches and their representations. Considering that play is one of the most serious and essential activities of childhood, in such a way that it is contemplated in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, a Project was developed with the purpose of getting to know the children's games, getting to know the games and toys of the past, expanding their opportunities to play, promoting different forms of expression, such as oral language and graphic representations. Having in mind an image of a competent and voiced child, we aimed at listening to/documenting the children's talks, as well as investigating what they expressed about playing and games. This way, through their speeches and representations, it was possible to discover the connections between play and pleasure, exploration, pretend play, imagination, toys built with recycled materials and everyday objects as toys, toy museums, books and collaboration. The implementation of this intervention was only possible through the successive and interactive cycle mentioned in the Curricular Guidelines for Pre-School Education of observation-documentation-reflection-plannification-action-evaluation and research- action, which allowed the "voice" of these children to be known and considered in the design of the intervention.
