Organização do estudo individual do instrumento: contributo para o desenvolvimento da autonomia nos alunos de fagote

Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio reflete os resultados de uma investigação-ação realizada no Conservatório de Guimarães no ano letivo de 2020/2021 no âmbito do estágio profissional, integrado no Mestrado em Ensino de Música do Instituto de Educação da Universidade do Minho. O tema deste projeto incidiu na organização do estudo individual do instrumento e os principais objetivos da investigação passaram por: perceber como é que cada aluno organiza o seu estudo individual; e qual o seu nível de autonomia na realização do mesmo. A revisão de literatura pretendeu analisar questões relacionadas com o papel do professor enquanto promotor de autonomia e quais os meios e estratégias de estudo que poderão potencializar autonomia no aluno. A intervenção pedagógica procurou incutir hábitos de estudo nos alunos, estimulando a sua autonomia na organização e concretização do seu estudo individual do instrumento. Com a intervenção pedagógica, procurou-se desenvolver autonomia nos alunos, através da organização do seu estudo individual do instrumento, contando com a participação de seis alunos de fagote que se encontravam a frequentar o segundo ciclo e o ensino secundário. A recolha de dados foi realizada através de diários de estudo e entrevistas estruturadas que tinham como objetivo captar a perceção dos alunos acerca do seu estudo individual e do seu nível de autonomia antes e depois da intervenção. Os resultados demonstraram que os alunos careciam de ajuda, por parte do professor, na organização do seu estudo individual, mostrando também que existe uma necessidade de desenvolver a autonomia dos alunos para que, deste modo, consigam otimizar o tempo de estudo.

The present Report reflects the results of an action-research carried out at the Conservatory of Guimarães in the academic year 2020/2021 within the scope of the professional internship, constituting the Master in Music Teaching of the Institute of Education of the University of Minho. The subject of this project focused on the organization of the individual study of the instrument, and the main objectives of the investigation were: to understand how the student’s organizes their individual study; and what is their level of autonomy in carrying it out. The literature review aimed to analyze issues related to the teacher's role as a promoter of autonomy and what are the means and strategies of study that can enhance student autonomy. The pedagogical intervention sought to instill study habits in students, stimulating their autonomy in the organization and implementation of their individual study of the instrument. Through pedagogical intervention, we sought to develop autonomy in students, through the organization of their individual study of the instrument, with the participation of six bassoon students who were attending the second and secondary cycles. Data collection was carried out through study diaries and structured interviews that aimed to capture the students' perception of their individual study and their level of autonomy before and after the intervention. The results showed that students needed help from the teacher in organizing their individual study, also showing that there is a need to develop students' autonomy so that, in this way, they can optimize their study time.
