O ensino dos valores através da literatura infantil no 1.º e 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico

Abstract

Este relatório de estágio foi elaborado no âmbito da unidade curricular Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do curso do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Português e História e Geografia de Portugal no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino. O documento espelha um processo de formação inicial que habilita profissionalmente para a docência nas referidas áreas. O relatório comporta também um projeto de investigação realizado com alunos do 2.º e 6.º anos do 1.º e 2.º Ciclos do Ensino Básico acerca do ensino de valores através da educação literária e da Literatura Infantil. A intervenção baseou-se numa metodologia qualitativa e na investigação-ação apresentada por Cohen e Manion (1990). As atividades realizadas inspiraram-se no Programa de Leitura fundamentado na Literatura (Yopp & Yopp, 2001), recorrendo a atividades de pré-leitura, de leitura e de pós-leitura. Foram desenvolvidas atividades colaborativas, em pares e em trabalho de grupo. Os alunos desenvolveram competências ao nível da educação literária, modificaram formas de estar e de agir e incrementaram os hábitos de leitura.

This report was prepared within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice curricular unit of the Master's degree in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic and Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal in the 2nd Cycle of Teaching. The document reflects an initial training process that professionally enables teaching in these areas. The report also includes a research project carried out with students of the 2nd and 6th years of the 1st and 2nd Cycle of Basic Education on the teaching of values through literary education and Children's Literature. The intervention was based on a qualitative methodology and the action research presented by Cohen and Manion (1990). The activities carried out were inspired by the Literature-based Reading Program (Yopp & Yopp, 2001), using pre-reading, reading and post-reading activities. Collaborative activities were developed, in pairs and group work. Students developed skills in literary education, modified ways of being and acting, and increased reading habits.
