ANSYS FLUENT.
A análise
No segundo e terceiro
Neste trabalho as metodologias analíticas
In this work is made hydrodynamic and thermal analysis at three different heat exchangers, using conventional analytical tools and the CFD simulation software, ANSYS FLUENT. In order to introduce the theme of heat exchangers and respective calculation methods, an approach is made to various kinds of heat exchangers and their applications. Passing also by the characteristics that define them and energy balance. It is made a study on the work of other authors in other similar cases, so that it is always possible to establish a comparison with those previously developed studies. The first analyzed situation is an heat exchanger with isothermal wall. The analysis of this first exchanger, despite including only one fluid, is important because it has an analytical solution, and thus is a good reference for comparison of results obtained with the FLUENT. The second heat exchanger analyzed is a double pipe heat exchanger, this heat exchanger includes two different flows thermally interacting with each other and thus allows the testing of different flow configurations. The third analysis is made to a shell and tube heat exchanger, the study of this exchanger is of great interest, because it represent approximately 50% of the heat exchanger's market. Moreover involves a degree of complexity of flow much higher than in the first two studies. Therefore the CFD analysis becomes more interesting in this case allowing the viewing of certain thermal and hydrodynamic behaviors undetectable with a conventional analysis. The results obtained were very similar with both methodologies in the first heat exchanger analyzed. In the second and third exchanger was greater divergence of results. But still the deviations are presented within the range of the work of other authors. In this work the conventional analytical methods prove to be very useful in predicting fast and generically hydrodynamic and thermal behavior of a heat exchanger. Even when the simulations have similar results with the analytical method, the solution showed a much higher level of detail. |
