A tecnologia da informação no ambiente escolar: um estudo na relação professor e aluno do IFRN - Campus Mossoró

Abstract

O objetivo da pesquisa é conhecer as possibilidades didáticas e metodológicas da inserção das tecnologias em uma perspectiva de transformação no aprendizado e suas inter-relações, bem como verificar como o uso das Tecnologias Digitais da Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) no ambiente escolar pode colaborar na relação professor e aluno do Instituto Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN)- Campus Mossoró. Foram coletados dados de docentes e discentes, numa amostra de 76 professores e 234 alunos. Para atingir os objetivos da pesquisa, um questionário foi transcrito no Google Docs. Efetuou-se uma pesquisa do tipo survey e a análise estatística, adotando-se o software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), versão 20. Tomando-se como referência a escala de Likert e as análises sobre a dispersão através da média e da variação apresentada em porcentagem, usou-se o coeficiente variação: menor igual 15% (baixa); entre 15% a 30% (média) e maior que 30% (alta). Os respondentes discentes são dos cursos técnicos integrados, turmas do 1º ao 4º ano, com faixa etária entre 14 e 23 anos ou mais. Os docentes apresentam faixa etária de 26 a 54 anos ou mais, maioria com mestrado (59,2%), área de atuação em Ciência e Tecnologia (69,8%), tempo de docência no IFRN de 1 mês até 10 anos (64,6%). Os resultados, quanto aos conhecimentos das TDIC, demonstram que o IFRN oferece equipamentos de informática e os mais utilizados são computadores e projetores multimídia, auxiliados por navegador e buscador web e editor de textos. Quanto ao uso da internet, a maioria dos respondentes utilizam email, portal de informações, youtube e criação de documentos. As TDIC aplicadas em sala de aula relacionadas aos recursos da internet são utilizadas para divulgar notícias que contribuem para tarefas escolares e de aplicativos como WhatsApp, ferramenta de comunicação e sites relacionados às pesquisas. Considerando os resultados, a pesquisa é essencial no planejamento, na capacitação e em investimentos em tecnologias voltadas às práticas pedagógicas.

The objective of this research is recognize the didactic and methodological possibilities allowed by the insertion of technologies within a perspective of transformation in learning and its inter-relations and verify how the use of Information Technology and Comunication (ICTC) can assist the school environment as well the relationship between professors and students in the Federal Intitute of Rio Grande do Grande (FIRN) - Campus Mossoró. Data from professors and students has been collected, using a sample of 76 professors and 234 students. In order to achieve the objective, a questionnaire was created on Google Docs. A survey was carried out and, for data treatment and statistical analysis, the software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), version 20 was adopted. Based in the Likert Scale and the dispersion analyzes was performed using the average found and variation presented in percentage, the coefficient variation was used: less than or equal to 15% (low); between 15% to 30% (medium) and greater than 30% (high). The student who answered the Survey are from the integrated technical courses that vary from the 1st and 4th year, aged between 14 and 23 years old or higher. The professors are aged between 26 and 54 years old or higher, majority with a Master's degree (59.22%) about Science and Technology (69.8%), with experience in teaching at the institute varying from 01 month to 10 years (64.6%). The results, regarding the wisdom of the ICTC, the FIRN provides equipment for usage and the most used are computers and multimedia projectors, aided by a browser and web browser and text editor. Regarding the use of the Internet, most of the people who responded reported that they use it to access e-mail, Institute Portal, Youtube and also to create documents. Most of the ICTC applied in the class are used to disseminate news that contribute to school tasks as well as use of applications like WhatsApp, communications tool and websites related to studies and researches. Considering the results, it is essential to highlight the need for planning, training and investments in ICTC aimed at pedagogical practices.
